I can provide less than 1 star, I would. There is a manager by the name of "Ms. Diane" who needs someone serious training on how to deal with customers. To make a small story short, there were several items missed priced during my 2 hour visit. After my total being several hundred dollars, when I address the issue of the pricing on several items ringing up incorrect, she would not honor the price. It would be different if this was 1 item, or if it was something I did as a customer wrong but it wasnt. It was very clear, the price on display in 3 different sections of the store showed a price different than what was ringing up. She even stated that she knew about these issues and neglected to fix them. The discount "Ms. Diane" would have given me was about $14 total but both her and her boss Marla thought it was too much to honor for me. So instead they would rather me not purchase hundreds of dollars of products, waist 2 hours of my time shopping, provide me with inconsistent information, and be a very upset customer. I would NEVER treat a customer the way I was treated, especially if I am clearly in the right. There were several mistakes done by employees and in addition I was spending a lot of money. I was at the location 2 hours prior of them closing and "Ms. Diane" only concern was to get the customer out of the store by 12. - Be very careful on pricing - Dont expect anything from the management team - Your loyalty as a customer that spends thousands of dollars has 0 value - This location is ran so poorly that I would go out of my way and visit another location in a heart beat

I always loved this Wal-Mart, but I think Id rather take my chances and go to the Hodgkins Wal-Mart from now on. I visited briefly yesterday to pick up a few essentials. I found what I needed...for the most part, but Ive noticed every time I come into the store, their electronics section is nearly bare. I was looking for a car charger for my cell phone, and they only had a few in stock (which didnt fit my phone), and the rest of the shelves were bare. Not a big deal, I can find one elsewhere, but electronics is a huge part of this store considering their food section isnt great. At check out, we found a checkout lane where the cashier was just finishing up with a customer. After saying goodbye to that customer, the cashier blatantly ignored us, and began filling up her bags on the turnstile. Okay...bags are important, but hers werent empty. She could have taken care of me and my mother before she began filling the bags. A simple "Hold on one moment" would have sufficed but this cashier blatantly ignored us while we stood there, almost to the point where I was going to take our things off the belt and move on to a cashier with a better attitude. Again, I think Ill take my chances and go to the superstore in Hodgkins, which I hate going to since its always so busy, and the usual not enough registers are open. But, after what I went through at Bridgeviews Wal-Mart, Id much rather wait in line forever with a cashier who is competent enough not to ignore their customers.

Our school had a very large order of school supplies fall through so we headed to Wal-Mart in a panic. The associates working the floor were incredible, as were the cashier that rang us up, and the customer service people that assisted us. We only completed part of our order because a customer began harassing one of the associates we asked to help us locate 150 blue plastic folders. She complained about him "school supply shopping" while on duty and accused him of telling her to move her a$$. He remained patient despite her rude comments. We were so embarrassed by how he was treated that we apologized and ended out shopping early. We would have gladly filled our $10,000 order there, but due to her harassment we only completed 1/5 of our order. Thank you to the wonderful people who work at Wal-Mart and I hope you have very few customers like that incredibly rude woman.

I shopped there today. 5 items were not in my bags when I got home, and they were small items. I asked the cashier if I had everything and he said yes. I called the store at 10:35p tonight and after some confusion on her part, the answerer (she said electronics when she answered) said give me a minute to check and put me on hold. 10 minutes later she had not come back. I hung up and redialed the number 3 separate times. Each time the phone rang about 20 times before a message came on saying not available and disconnecting the call. I guess Walmart has so many sales that they dont give a darn about customer service. Or else, intentionally not giving customers all of their purchases helps them to keep their profits high, because they then return the merchandise to the shelves for selling again. Walmart has crappy poor business practices!

Awful. Not enough workers at the registers. The self check outs are nightmares. On top of this they think that your stealing. No i dont steal. It is the illusion created by the "unexpected item placed on the loading area" error. You cant replace human skills and ability with artificial intelligence. It just does not work. A massive corporation should have adequate cashiers and customer service personnel to handle clientel volume. After i pay for my goods those goods become my property. Anyone trying to stop me and try to inspect my bags is an invasion of my space and property and may be subjected to hostile feed back. These walmarts need a new overhaul on their check out systems. Dont even get me started on the lines. Everyone should shop at other retailers otherwise walmart will monopolize and service will get worse.

Was in here a few days ago trying to buy a TV, the service was terrible! The two girls wouldnt help me at all! They sat around chatting about some guy, and kept telling me "One minute." and after I finally got their attention, she just told me the TV was out of stock, and walked away. I still wanted to buy a TV, even if it wasnt the one I had originally picked! After several minutes a younger guy, I think his name was Tom, or Tim, walked into the department and walked straight up to me and asked if I needed help. The other two girls didnt even care that I stood there waiting. The man apologized, and even helped me to my car with the TV. Those two girls need to be fired.

Constantly out of products, very poorly stocked. Pharmacy techs are some of the rudest people Ive ever encountered. Customer service continually changes their return policies. Bathrooms are always filthy. If youre handicapped, dont bother coming here at all. I tried to get dropped off by the doors, because I was on crutches and didnt want to slip and fall on their poorly maintained lots. That got the person that was generously helping me, a parking ticket sent to him in the mail. The dirty cops this place is associated with, couldnt even be bothered to get out of their vehicle. What kind of society do we live in, that makes that municipality so money hungry?

Horrible employees, horrible place. They dont have much of anything. The employees ask two people for an ID when buying alcohol when my work only asks one person. My wife goes in to get beer while I went to the car, the cashier at self checkout goes to the register she was at and says *Name of cashier* I just saw her husband go out the door, if shes buying beer she cant. Two days ago I needed help getting an item off a shelf in the toy aisle for my young son, I was waiting there for 30 minutes before I gave up and left . Dont bother with this place, go to the Hodgkins Walmart. That location is better.
