In a nutshell: "you get what you pay for." I had a screw stuck in my rear driver tire, so I took a picture of it and posted it online, asking for advice. Most people suggested Discount Tire, because it was free. Hey, free is good, right? Ha. I took in my car, and the sales associate offered to rotate my tires at no charge as well, in exchange that I consider getting "tire insurance" with them. No brainer: I accepted a handout to read at home, and my car was ready in a short amount of time. Seemed really great! About a week later, the tire light popped on my dashboard, so I went to check the air pressure. Guess what I found: the same screw, but in the rear passenger. I checked my photo to make sure it wasnt just some random coincidence, and sure as sugar-- a perfect match. Same screw, same spot. So, they didnt remove the screw, AND they rotated the tires wrong (at least in back, who knows if the front ones were even touched)! No, not getting any tire insurance with these bozos. I took in the car again, explained what happened, and they supposedly fixed it. I say supposedly, because my light came on again, and when I took my car into my dealer for an oil change, they told me they found a screw in the back tire. I didnt see the screw myself, so I cant say if it was the same one. But regardless, I will not recommend this location, based on the first round. In hindsight, I should have requested to see the patch job both times. I pass this lesson onto you: if you bring in your vehicle into this location, request to see proof that it is fixed!

About a year ago I had an incident at this location where they damaged my wheel stud while swapping my summer tires for winter tires. So they swapped the 3 tires and sent me on my way to get the stud fixed (huge pain on a jaguar) and told me to come back. When I came back a week later, another salesman gave me a hard time about swapping the 4th tire that the tires are 10 years old and tried to upsell me, altho a week earlier they had no problem swapping the other 3 tires with matching dates. I was treated unprofessionally and extremely rudely to the point that I sent a complaint email to upper management which resulted in me getting 4 brand new tires and an apology. Fast forward to yesterday. I wanted to do my brakes. Turns out the shop overtightened my wheels. One wheel came off like butter. The other 3 have been tightened on max with an impact wrench to the point that I cant take them off with an impact wrench from a semi even after soaking them in wd-40 overnight. I assume that the tech was trying to retaliate against me. All of my lugnuts are ruined and I need multiple studs replaced. Most of my anger at this situation is with the fact that my wife has been driving this car for the past year with my 3 year old son. Overtightened lug nuts can cause the wheels to break off.

Brought my car in for a nail in one of my rear tires and a rotation. I was told the wait was an hour and a half which is fine. Coming from a former technician I understand the time thing and had no problem waiting for it. When I picked my truck up I was in a hurry. And shame on me did not inspect before I left. My car started to drift right while I was driving and I knew what they had done. Get home to confirm they had only rotated my right side tires......ugh. heres the kicker, the nail was still in my tire!!!! So Im now waiting at the Crestwood location for them to correct chicago ridges f-up. LONG STORY SHORT L, Chicago ridge has lazy techs, take the extra time to drive to Crestwood and have them do it right.

I would like to compliment the service I received from the Oak Lawn,IL store. I brought in a wheel off my 2008 Smart Fortwo which was leaking from the stem. Doing my research, I knew the possible issues regarding this repair. Serviceman Abe was very friendly and informed me of the possible repairs I was aware of. I left the tire overnight (no rush for me). The following morning I picked up the tire. Abe brought the tire out to my car, told me all it needed was the stem, and did NOT charge me a thing! I want to commend Abe on his OUTSTANDING service! This was my first visit to Discount Tire, but certainly not my last. I will recommend this shop to family and friends as well. Thanks again to Abe!

No rating , because of their wrong advice. I went in to get front tires only (front wheel drive car) and was told that if I wanted front tires they would have to put my bad back tires on the front (which are as bad as the front tires) and the new ones in the back. I mechanic and take care of my own vehicle Samurai. Deville and Acura Rl. Point blank they dont know what they are talking about!!!!!

I took my car in for a flat tire repair. I was told that they couldnt fix the problem. When I pick up my vehicle I notice that my wheel was damaged, when I brought it up to the managers attention he basically told me that he cant do anything for me and to pretty much take a hike. Thats not how you handle a customer that has been dealing as well as referring people to discount tire for 16 years.

Hector Silva, Assistant Manager, provided the best service Ive experienced. No pressure sales, asked pertinent information about my driving habits and recommended the proper tires. Physically showed me existing tire wear. The staff, including the store manager, Jeremy, showed professional knowledge. I applaud them and will definitely refer them. Thank you Hector.

Worst business place I have ever dealt with in my life. They broke one of my tire sensors, tried to blame it on the way I drived. They had the audacity to charge 70 bucks to repair it. Plus they also broke one of my tire valves and still blamed it on me. I ADVISE YOU TO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE. BUNCH OF LYING SCUMS WHO ARE TRYING TO STEAL FROM YOU.

Customer service is fantastic at this location. Every person that works here is extremely friendly and makes me feel comfortable. They offer beverages which is always a plus. Their warranty policy is great especially if something happens spur of the moment. They have quick service and always take walk ins. Highly recommend getting your tires here!

I went to this location serval times and it was a good one for me, idk how ppl say that no1 attended to them cause you have to stand in a line (usually lines are not that long). Went in to get my air pressure checked and balanced didnt wait to long. Also went in to get my slow leak on my tired fixed once again the wait wasnt that long.

They are always very helpful. Jeremy is great. As an update, I had a tire balance issue. It took 5 visits to get it diagnosed but at this point it seems to be 90% fixed. It was unsettling that I had to finally diagnose the issue. One last visit is required to get it completely fixed. Hopefully this visit goes well.
