Customer service isnt a big priority, especially when it comes to returning things,even with a reciept. Also you need to make sure to check before you go home to see if they took off money for your coupons. Make sure you dont get charged regular price for discounted items or items on sale, because if you arent on top of things you will end up losing money rather than saving it. Personal note, I am not giving this rating based off of one bad experience, Im giving it due to the multiple times Ive had bad experiences with this D.G.

DG is DG. Pretty much the same no matter where your at. You can tell DG doesnt take care of their employees as they are never happy people. They also need to upgrade their cash register systems as they seem very slow. Always long wait lines bc you have to wait for the workers to get done sticking the shelves. Always a wait. If your in a hurry your better off to go find them in the isle and tell them your ready.

Has everything I needed at good prices but on Saturdays its hard to walk through the store because they block several rows with stock carts. Saturdays are busy shopping days so it would be nice to be able to walk easily through the store.

I did a debit and machine asked if I wanted cash back, I pushed selected yes, and they charged $1.50, never ever been charged a fee for getting cash back after doing a purchase, SMH

Cashier was pretty cool. She was friendly, offered a nice enjoy your holiday in a good high spirited tone. Which is a change up from the last time I was there.

The workers are lazy and slow ..I ask for help they look at me and point sending me on a goose chase the service sucks but they have the necessities needed

DG by Alton police department in nice. Good selection of groceries and dry goods. Store nice inside still. Prices great

Always polite and helpful. Best price on milk around its 1.90 a gallon for whole milk. Way cheaper than Walmart.
