I have not only bought once, but twice from Zams. The Owner is a honest and hardworking family man that has lived in and been doing business in Gwinnett County for many years. Both cars we have purchased were used, and both were a great value. We purchased a 2003 Altima with V6 in 2007 which suited my daughter quite well and was still running great up until her recent trade in. The only reason she traded it, is she wanted something with better gas economy than a V6. She recently purchased a 2010 Honda Civic. This car was also a great price and is running well. The Owner of Zams has always been fair and honest. I will continue to purchase from him in the future and will not hesitate to refer him to my friends and family. I have also read some of the other reviews and would like to add the following note. If you are buying used, do your due diligence. They will have no problem with you taking the car to YOUR mechanic and having it checked out at your own expense. If you arent happy with it, dont buy it. Easy as that. Please remember, Used dealers either get trade ins or buy at auction. They are also taking a chance. Although they have them checked out, there may be issues even they dont see? So do your homework and get the vehicle inspected by an independent or other garage. I can assure you, they are not out to cheat anyone or give you a lemon. They are a business and want to make their customers repeat customers. Thank you.

I am quite disturbed how business are still able to run scams on people in this day and age. My daughter went to Zams Used cars at 3393 Stone Mountain Hwy, Snellville, GA 30078 to purchase a cash vehicle. I understand there is a risk with buying any vehicle. At least the car should be in running order. The first purchase was a 2000 Nissan Maxima, my daughter got down the street and the car stopped and started smoking, she had the car lot come and get the car. To add insult to injury, he put her in a 1998 Acura RL this car has a fan that will not cut off, white smoke coming from the tail pipe, the check engine light is on and it has several misfires coming from the used engine. Radiator is not attached to the car as well. There needs to be something done to these small dealerships to make them accountable for selling junk cars to people. The owner stood there and told us, I just sell these cars, we do not check them out. 1. This is a safety issue, if you are driving a defective car it can cause an accident, as well as road blockage. I would am seeking legal council in this matter to get my daughter back the $2,100 she spent on the car. To make matters worse he charged her $800 twice just to get tags for the vehicle. The car was not emissions ready, she had to go to one of his people to get the emissions done. In order for the car to pass, there was an illegal emissions test done.

I have no idea how anyone could have a problem with Joe. He was incredibly patient with us; my wife has Multiple Sclerosis and as such moves very slowly and deliberately. She checked out the car we ended up buying VERY thoroughly, from top to bottom. Next we opted to think about the purchase overnight; Joe agreed to hold the car until he heard back from us. We did end up buying the car and Joe was terrrific throught out the entire process. After we got the car home we discovered a problem with it. I called Joe and he asked me to drop the car off to him. The car was repaired overnight and we were not charged a penny. I honestly dont often write reviews on businesses; I dont read them ansd I would rather formulate my own opinion based on my own experience and as such I also tend to let people form their own opinions. After having read some of the reviews here, however, I did feel the need to speak up in Joes defense. I had a stellar experience buying from Zams and would not hesitate to recommend the business to anyone looking for reliabe transportation at a reasonable price. I work for a large delivery company in the area and we literally have well over 100 drivers. I am already trying to send Joe as much business as I can. Thanks Joe !~ you are the man!!!

I would recomend that anyone who is in need of a quality vehicle this is the place you want to come. I cant even put it all into words. The service here is second to none. The owner and the staff really makes you feel like family and not like youre just another client or customer. From the time you arrive to the time you leave they really take care of all of your needs! I have brought two vehicles from them and i have had no problems at all. Everything worked and operated fine. Wow i would recommend this company to anyone who wants to get the best value and service for their hard earned money. I have had such a great experience with Zams until now I will never purchase a vehicle from anyone else! Zams you guys are awesome and because of their superior service I am now a loyal customer for life. So I recommend anyone whos looking to purchase a car please, come check these guys out first. my daughter was robbed at this place lied to and disrepcted took her money and sent her off in a car that she could have been hurt in she has a two year old and they broke down the staff are all just as bad as the owner please dont go here i since then her car door has fallen off her transmission is so bad she cant go in reverse found out the car had been in a wreck never told us about joe is a person all about joe and the owner is just as bad / spend your money some where zams is a scam.Now its been about three months since she bought the car weve replaced the transmission fixed doors motor mounts went tires were so bad the car would shake so bad, I WONDER HOW THESE PEOPLE SLEEP AT NIGHT. Im so upset that they can get away with this the state does not protect the consumer at all , PLEASE, PLEASE DONT GO TO ZAMS AS is means they must tell you about it being in a wreck they knew it was wrecked and didnt care they will I promise you they will watch out for them

My first purchase went so well with Zams, I just bought my second vehicle from Jay at Zams Used Cars in Snellville. This time I bought a bus for an RV Conversion. As I was completely expecting the transaction was very smooth! Great customer service here! I love the way both Jay and Joe are very upfront and honest in helping you make the best decision for your vehice needs. I didnt buy the bus I originally went to buy, but from both Jay and Joes helpful input I bought the right bus. What was really funny is that I was looking at a bus that was much more expensive! I dont know any car dealers that advise you to spend less money with them! I love my choice though, they were right in the end. Nice job Zams crew! I will be back and will send my friends!
