I have been a customer of Food Depot/Quality Foods for about 25 years. I have been going to the higher priced grocery stores to avoid the unpleasant experience I always have when I go to your store in Newnan, Ga. There is an employee there that follows me around the store sniffing around me like hes some kind of nut. I avoid this man by going down isles that I dont even need anything from. But he still follows me down EVERY isle. This has been going on for about 2 years now. Every time this happens he goes back to the meat department and calls this short black lady out and they both just stands their whispering and looking at me like they have some sort of mental problem. I have noticed that other employees are aware of how they carry on also. Including the manager of the meat department. I am writing this review because I am not going to avoid coming to this store out of fear because I am a fighter and I expect this problem to be taken care of. I believe he is a maintenance man because all I ever see him doing is walking around. Being a black man that looks pretty bad anyway. But to harass a cancer patient is as low as you can go. Im sure I can find many ways to bring more attention to this problem. Also cashiers at this location have very bad attitudes. T

This is a discounted food store. Food quality is good but offers mainly off-brand products. There is no bakery or seafood department. The meat department is large with decent offerings. However, 10% will be added to your total bill at checkout. Ive noticed areas that need attention to cleaning dust and cobwebs. The store is old and in a shopping center that needs updating to revitalize it.

I do a lot of my grocery shopping there . The prices are always at least fair if not better than most other places. Although theres a lot of things they dont carry. One of them being Goldfish crackers. But the only bad thing I have to say is that their produce isnt always that great. Thats why they didnt get 5 stars. And sometimes its not as clean as it could be its in an older building.

Today was different, because the cashier was very cordial & helpful thinking of a few times I went to Food Depot I vowed not to go back because of some of the personalities, so I stayed away for a very longtime, but Im happy that I took a chance to go there today, I m very pleased with the service I was provided.

Its ok for a quick grab. The prices are cheap and reminds me of a piggly wiggly or some similiar chain. The element that I see are either elderly or very young (observation not fact). Clerks are nice enough and there is a 10% up charge on whatever you purchase.
