I have the option of several supermarkets on my route home from work, but this tends to be the most used one. Both this Ingles and its nearby counterpart on Grayson Highway, have a retro feel to them. Everything from the stores general layout to the lighting remind me of the grocers of my youth. Staff is always friendly and helpful. And the store is frequently bot busy. I can always park relatively close the entrance, and checkout very quickly. Its a far cry from the havoc of an afternoon Wal-Mart or Publix run, where youre attempting to avoid throngs of people not paying attention, running into each other, or holding impromptu family reunions in the middle of an isle. The store also tends to have items that other stores do not. For example, my favorite style of paper towels (Bounty Duratowel for reference), which are carried at no other retail venue in town as present here. The store also has the smaller shopping carts that Im a fan of. That said, there are some issues with the store. While what produce they have is fresh, the selection and variety leave a great deal to be desired compared to the local Publix. And items prepped in-store (like pre-chopped onions) generally appear to have been on shelves longer, resulting in a shorter period of use once home before needing disposal. Another thing about the location that drives me nuts is the cheese section. For whatever reason, many of the cheeses will have white residue on it, or have visible condensation forming on the interior of the package. Im not certain if its a failing of the coolers or simply slap-dash inventory management. Ive brought this issue up with store personnel before, but it continues to be an issue. There was also one instance where I purchased an unrelated item that was past its expiration, but was still on the shelf. All in all, if you favor quick trips for mostly pre-packaged foods, I cant recommend this location enough. If you purchase fresh foods more regularly, youll be better served by Publix.

I have rated this Ingles before and gave it the same 5 star rating for cleanliness, wide isles, helpfulness, freshness, etc. Now I am rating the Pharmacy the same 5 stars. I wish we would have made the switch to Ingles earlier. My family has had complicated health issues for 40 years and we have moved many times so I know an outstanding pharmacy when I find one. This is up there with the best we have ever had. Friendly and efficient is important but quality of the pharmacist is even more important when it comes to Rx. Some past experiences could have been life threatening if we hadnt caught them but others were just rude people who wouldnt help with insurance problems or not counting properly. Never a problem with any of the pharmacists at Ingles and they do it with personality. I usually get Ben but they are all great, I just cant remember everyones name.

The Pharmacists are fantastic! Friendly, courteous, they go above an beyond! I routinely will drive 30 minutes out of my just to fill my prescriptions at Ingles, Pharmacy on Lawrenceville Hwy. And By the way, prescription prices are great! They are the Chic-f-la of Pharmacies. Yes, thank you, my pleasure!!!
