I called Costco to order a new pair of glasses, and was told me one lady at the optical center and another from the doctors office that they were putting my order in. I called again a couple days later to check on the status of the glasses, where I was informed that no order was put in, and that to order a new pair of glasses I would have to go in for an eye exam. My mistake had been forgetting that the last time I had an eye exam I went to sams club instead, but I dont understand how Costco made this so much more difficult. The first day I called, the optical center told me to call the doctors office to tell them to give my prescription to the optical center. They transferred me, I told them my prescription, and then they told me they would give my prescription to the optical center to place the order in five to ten minutes. I hung up, and called the optical center thirty minutes later because I had a question and to double check that they got the prescription. I was then told that they hadnt received the prescription and they had to talk to the doctors office again. After talking to them for a little, they told me they were putting the order in and it would arrive in 5-7 days. I dont get how I could call a couple days later and then get told they never put an order in. As a side note, the only helpful worker I talked to during this period was one lady that worked at the doctors office the second time I called. She was the only one that called me back to follow up once she couldnt find the order information, and tried to help me figure out what was going on. The other three were rude or gave wrong information. If they had told me from the beginning that my eye exam hadnt been done there in the past year, then I could have figured out where I had gotten my eyes checked instead of having to wait three days just to find out Costco didnt do anything at all.

The optical department is sucks. 2 years ago I got my glasses here and I was pleased with their services. Now, dont hope much. They are just lazy. They did not even want to help me to know what my coverage. I am glad I go to other Costco.
