My experiences have always been great here at Shaded Soul. I have a full arm sleeve and a half arm sleeve that connects to a chest piece all done by Mike. Having plenty of other tattoos done in the past by other shops, I have to admit that Shaded Soul continues to be my absolute best experience. They make you feel very welcome. They are also an extremely clean place, and that is a VERY IMPORTANT EXPECTATION for me. Tattoo seats and work stations are wiped down in your presence so you can watch them set up. The needle is shown to you so that you can actually see him tearing it out of packaging. The grips are also shown to you with the expiration date before removing the packaging from around them. If you understand tattoo safety then you understand how important that is...no secrets at Shaded Soul! On a more personal note while you are getting the tattoo, Mike is filled with humor and conversation. On the contrary, if youre one of the quiet types, he will ask you what music you enjoy and play it for you to keep you in a calm mood. Lastly, we all know tattoos can be painful; however, Mike really tries to use light pressure and swipe gently to ease the pain. That is important when the tattoo needle itself gets pretty painful at times. I plan on returning soon!

Mike @ shaded soul is an amazing artist and the only one I will trust to do my tatts. I have followed him over the years to every shop he has worked at and am so happy he now has his own shop! The shop is comfortable, extremely clean, and its awesome that there is total privacy in rooms where the tattoos are done. Ive been to shops where theres people watching others get their tattoos done out in the open, seems pretty awkward lol. They were accommodating, friendly, and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. They are knowledgeable on all things tattoos including aftercare and will give you great advice and suggestions on your custom pieces to make sure you get exactly what you want. I always suggest this shop to all my friends! :) I constantly get compliments on my tatts, Thanks guys!

I visited the shop to ask questions about my future tattoo. My Idea was blurry, and I couldnt imagine it being made into a tattoo. The owner, Mike, did what I thought was impossible! He took my ideas down and created a masterpiece with ease. Glad I stopped here to discuss my ideas. I paid a small portion as a deposit that will also go towards my tattoo when I go in. Love how that works - great business idea! So, I wasnt just paying for the drawing, but it will come out of my tattoo cost. Needless to say, now I am extremely excited for my birthday to arrive so I can go in and get Mikes creation of my idea tattooed. Counting down the days.!

Called about getting jewelry changed on a piercing. Tom rudely asked what I wanted because they dont do everything. I told him a tragus (part of your ear) piercing. He said we wont do that we dont have the jewelry for it. I have my own brand new jewelry but I couldnt get that out before I was hung up on. I liked their work Ive seen as far as tattoos and had been considering coming to get ink but not after today. Geez.

I just went there yesterday an got the experience of a life time , this was my first time ever getting a tattoo but Mike made me feel like I had sat in his chair before. Hes extremely laid back and mad jokes to make me feel comfortable. This has only been day with it but my love lotus flower looks amazing, I cant wait to go back:)

Great shop clean friendly and doesnt matter if its your first or one of many they make you feel right at home.Anything from all out custom work to the simpleist of tattoos they make it easy from start to finish.Jay does all my work and to say the least its nothing short of amazing.I wouldnt even think of going any where else.
