This shop dont deserve a star period. I been a customer for years and the girl there was great at helping me. All I ask was $5 extra for pawning a tv I was getting back in 4 days. She had to ask the old man which was fine and I said if you cant no big deal. The old man just as mean as everyone said pissed me offover something that happen 2 years ago. Mind you it wasnt a big deal to me cause I said the $5 isnt breath taken and I come every other month. The old guy really said if you dont do this we going to have a talk. "Wait a minute, excuse me" Who do you think you talking to. I to grown for that southern BS. I gave him so feedback and I post my review and plan on boycotting. This guy been getting away with a lot of stuff. Its really best you go to another pawn shop. Avoid Top dog if your life depend on it. He will talk trash about you and your product. The old guy ruin top dog reputation and Im going to spread the word real quick even to the news at this point in how he treat people. Never again I stepping in their and I will let the gamers that go there the most to the other top dog pawn the same thing. I been here way longer they is and I know how to escalate issues like this

I used to like this place, but as of late theyve become extremely particular about items theyll accept.. I tried to bring in a PS4 in perfect working condition to pawn. I didnt have the controller because I sold it to a buddy of mine the day before, I needed the cash. They denied me because I didnt have a controller, because they didnt know if it worked, but the kicker to the story is they had two ps4 controllers sitting right there on the counter & couldve very easily used one of those controllers to see that my ps4 is in perfect working condition. I didnt understand the logic, thats a $400-$500 device & they refused. Im almost certain they couldve sold it without any controller. The old guy said it doesnt have a "market" without the controller. Basically like it wont sell. Thats crap, theyre usually more lenient. Im guessing theyve had issues with broken stuff, it just made me upset because like I said it was two controllers literally right there.

Do not take your gold there to be sold they paid me $152 for a gold chain. They said it was based off of gold scrap prices and the same day I called the gold shop and they quoted $180 for the same exact chain. I gave the other retailer the exact weight and karat of the chain and he confirmed his price was market based also, this call was made no less then 2 hours after the pawn shop. I asked the gentlemen at the pawn shop if he would budge on gold price at all and he said no because its based on the value of gold that day independent of his or my opinion, Gold is valued the same across the world regardless the store.The other items I had brought in seemed to low also but thats more opinion based. I trusted them to give me market price for my gold, I told them I needed this money for bills today. That was probably my fault, learn from my mistake

I have just completed a very good deal with top dog. I also read many reports written about top dog. I think most of the reports were written with a one sided behavior and most of them expressed feeling and behaviors that did not include talking with top dog. I feel, shame on those for not being stand up people and just talking with someone, before they just call hot headed or upset and express their feeling. When someone is approached with a one sided opinion it is hard to make things right. I feel if all those that wrote a poor report called with a open mind all would have gone well. Thank You TOP DOG for being honest and giving beyond the expected deal. If you ever need a back up for any reason, call on Frank. THUMBS UP TO TOPDOG PAWN...... .

Brought in a lightly used Xbox One used maybe for a total of 10 hours. I wiped it so my stuff wasnt on there anymore. When I took it in they said there was an error code coming up and they wouldnt buy it. So I took it back home turned it on and no error comes up and I was able to go through set up just fine. Not sure what they were talking about or if they even knew what they were talking about, they just quickly unplugged it and shrugged me off before I could see the error or even ask questions. Side note some guy walked in the store with an ak-47 in hand through the front door, shady people frequent this place and poor customer service. Some of the employees are plain rude and talking bad about customers when/as they left.

They are ALWAYS low balling , came in with a brand new PS4 not even out the box yet and they said all they would do is 80 ! When I asked the man why is that he said my name wrong i told him the correct way to say it and if hes not going to say my name right or take the time to sound it out dont pronounce it its disrespectful then he raises his voice and goes well now Im taking anything whatever your name is . NEVER GO THERE THEY LOW BALL THEN TRY TO SELL THINGS FOR HIGH THATS NOT EVEN REASONABLE ❗️

Absolutely awful shop. The staff was friendly, but the old man who seemed to be in charge was just plain rude. He offered me chump change for a fairly expensive item then just got nasty when i declined his offer. Wont ever set foot in the place again, not even to buy comics, and they had a nice selection. Honestly, a city-wide boycott of the business wouldnt be a bad thing at all.

If i could rate a 0 i would. They treated my wife very rudely. She was trying to pawn an xbox one and he looked at it (only a month old) and said no i dont want it. Keep in mind she called before shr went all the way down there. Then when she grabbed her stuff he was like dont get an attitude bc im not afraid to curse you out. Do not go to the top dog in washington road.

We called beforehand and asked for a used PS2, the man on the phone was very polite and answered my question quickly. When we went in to buy we were expecting the console, cords and one memory card but were surprised to see it included 3 controllers and an AC adapter also. The store was very organized and had lots of awesome comic related stuff and even more! 5/5!

They keep good records so if you have been here before they will most likely work with you again. They tend to tell that your items are worth less than they really are even if they have the same exact item for sell priced higher than what they say yours is worth. They are not sharks. They will give you a chance to pay. If you call and keep your word.
