The Salvation Army Thrift store is packed with tons of clothing that are arranged by color. There is a nice sweater section, tons of pants, and an excellent furniture section that s displayed on one half of the store. There is an actual greeter and the rest of the stores staff is pleasant. The kid section was nice and there are many nice children and adult beds. (Note: A racecar bed was brought in when i went). They have an auction around back every morning at 8:30. It begins at 9:00 and you must have a ticket (given there). Remember auctioning is a form of gambling so children and all people under 18 can not come in or participate (learned from experience). Due to its location there may be the occasional drunk or homeless person but it is perfectly safe. This salvation army works to help get drug and alcohol addicts back on there feet so they have them work the auction " heavy-lifting not money". On to the clothing... There werent many blazers and there seemed to be an abundance of the larger sizes. the Sweater section was extraordinary and the athletic wear wasnt shabby either. I cant speak for the male section because im a female but the males section is displayed in the front window and is just as large as the womens side. There are fitting rooms and mirrors, as well as a restroom. They have 50% Wednesdays and 50% of a certain color tag every other day. Finally the pricing... It ranges from around 3.99-9.99 with most objects at 4.99. Athletic wear had some things for 1.99-2.99 and hats and scarves were about 2.99. 50% of days are crazy so get there early or things may be picked over. What i got if you care: a pair of gray jeans(3.99) 3 sweaters{2@ $4.99 and 1 @6.99) 2 skirts" black with elastic waist band" (3.99 each) spandex running tights(3.99) there was soo much more but this is getting long PLUS IT WAS WEDNESDAY...

I have shopped here dozens of times, and have bought an entire professional wardrobe, consisting of AnnTaylor, Banana Republic, Jones NY, and similar brands. The best day to go is on Wednesday, when all clothing is half off. This amounts to about $2 for a pair of Ann Taylor suit pants! They dont care how much it cost in the retail world! No wonder someone made a song about this shopping experience! Also, I had never known the difference between the Goodwill and the Salvation Army. The Goodwill is a business that pays its CEO very handsomely, while the Salvation Army is an amazing organization that contributes to humanity in a way that should be known. I will never again lump them in the same category!

Ive been shopping here for a few years, but they recently nixed the student discount and daily sticker discount. They still have Wed 1/2 off (I think its only 25% now), but as a college student my income is limited. This was one of the few places I could get several quality items for under $10... heres hoping they bring it back. 3 stars because the clothing and other goods are still in great condition I just want my deep discounts back PLEASE!

Baught a tuner, CD changer and speakers on March 31, 2017. They plugged everything up in store and it worked. Got home and plugged everything up the next day. It came on but sounded weird. Turned it off and then back on and now the turner isnt working. I will never buy any electronics from a thrift store again. $65 down the drain

Students get a discount with student ID. A moderate selection of male shirts, limited with jackets (goodwill is better). Everything else is pretty solid. Theyre always bringing things in and out random times so checking frequently is key!

Love this store. You can sometimes luck up on some real steals. A couple of weeks ago I got a cute, brand new looking pair of sneakers for the price of a foot long at Subway! Furniture is lovely also!
