I purchased a car Ford Explorer 2006 from Platinum Automotive, Inc. in February 2015., I in good faith spoke w/Mr. Williams and expressed my concern for buying a good running vehicle that I was not interested in purchasing a car that had a lot of mechanical problems starting out. He assured me the car was a good running car with no problems that he knew of. The next day after driving the car off the car the "Check Engine" light came on and I immediately called Mr. Williams and he asked if I had put gas into the car and I acknowledged that I did, and he said it had to be the gas that these type of cars need a higher octane. I told him that this was my third Ford Explorer and that was never the case with these type of cars. To make a long story short I took the car the same week to Allen Vigil Ford Dealership and was told that the "Catalytic Converter", 1st Bank was needed. I went back to Platinum Automotive, Inc. and showed Mr. Williams the paperwork from the dealership and asked if he would fix or even compromise with me. Mr. Williams said that "We dont do that", its your responsibility to fix it and I can give you a name and number of someone who can fix it for you and it probably wont cost much"! I left the dealership and returned home and the smell was so strong that we have to leave the garage door up for 1 hour each day because of the fumes its very intoxicating. I took the car back to Platinum Automotive, Inc. after 30 days and asked for my money back!

I got a car from this place!!! With in 2weeks the transmission was going out.... This was all be for the 1st car was due.... I spoke to the manger and the salesman who sold me the truck they both told me in a nut shell I was SOL....... Its nothing they can r will do... I have to pay a $550 car note plus get a truck fix at the of $3575.00 if I took it to the dealer it would b $5500 ;-(

Thanks for the warning, everyone. I was actually considering purchasing a car from this lot along with my sister. At this point, I am going to warn her that she and I must look elsewhere. Money is too tight to waste it on a bad salesman getting over on us. Thanks again.
