AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE> I teach bride classes to the elderly at a large apartment complex for seniors. I teach for free. I went to get a piece of felt cut. I needed a 12 foot piece cut into four foot pieces to use on the tables here. The seniors have a very hard time picking the cards up from the slick tables. I asked the clerk to please cut a 12 foot piece and then do 2 cuts to provide me with the 3 pieces I needed. I was told that they could make ony one cut per bolt leaving me with this large piece of material to bring home. I have no sharp scissors nor do I have a place large enough to cut it. I talked to the manager. It is a chain store and it is a rule> so there. THIS IS AWUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am 62 and have shopped many times for fabric and this is a first. I will never shop there again. I would hate for a mother of twins to come in and ask them to cut 2 pieces, one for each child of the same fabric. They will not do it!! Astounded in Alpharetta

I really like this JoAnns location. It is VERY large and has an excellent selection for whatever kind of craft you are looking for. They have a very large yarn selection. Their store brands of yarn are also a very good quality. They also have a large beading/scrapbooking/fine arts selection. Its bigger than the local Michaels which is nearby so you are more likely to find what you need here rather than at that location. (Sorry Michaels - its true) Have fun!

I have found my new favorite store. Went yesterday and I didnt know they honored coupons from Hobby Lobby. I found the perfect picture for over my fireplace for 40% off. I LOVE THIS STORE. I saw on pinterest how you could cover bar stools instead of purchasing new ones. I went to Joanns and found the perfect chevron upholstery fabric in black and white. My chairs look absolutely amazing.

A good selection of cottons for quilting. Apparels has a fair selection. There is no longer a sewing machine section, but they do still have machines for sale. Front line staff is generally knowledgeable and helpful to find things you may need. Management is lacking in enthusiasm and are certainly avoidable. All in all, good place to pick-up general items you may need for a project.

The staff didnt seem very knowledgeable. I was looking for a type of fabric and the first person I asked had never heard of it before. The second person I asked showed me to something that could maybe be considered similar but definitely wasnt what I was looking for. The selection of fabric was okay. Nothing too impressive.

It has a versatile amount of crafts for any project and although it was difficult for me to find what I needed, the lady who was at the check-out took me to the area where I needed the correct needles for my project. They really do their best to keep things stocked and have great customer service.

I go here for almost allow my sewing and craft needs. They have everything and just being there makes me believe that I can accomplish certain projects. They do have classes on sewing, cake decorating etc. The atmosphere and service is friendly. Fabrics are on sales many times.

very difficult to find what I need to get in & out quickly, without having to bother staff to ask. But they have great coupons, deals, and clearance items way in the back corner of the store. Better quality merchandise than OTC.

They have a good variety of everything and have a lot of choice (like fabric and yarn). Its a good store to just browse for an hour or two. The deals are good if you time it just right. The staff is usually pretty helpful.
