Being an OCD clean freak..once I waked into this shop (Jupiter) I knew I found the right place. Not only does it smell clean but everything is spotless and well organized. I spoke to one of the guys in there and explained I was looking for some custom work and he pointed me to all of the artists books and told me to take my time and go through each one and to focus on what I was looking for so I could choose the best artist to convey that look. I spent about 40 minutes studying them and not once did I get any weird looks or any pressure to hurry up and choose. I went with in my personal opinion master artist Isaac Davis. I scheduled a consultation with him for the following week. I came to the shop and explained what I was looking for along with a printout of the flowers associated with a hummingbird. He talked me out of a watercolor look I was steering towards. He explained that while it is a trend and may look nice at first, the color does not last and it would most likely not transcend through the years. I really appreciated his honesty and being straightforward with me. He told me to give him a week and he will send me a drawing. I paid a deposit to him - as you should, because this is something that will be with you for the rest of your life and you get what you pay for. About a week later he sent me the drawing and it was perfect! It captured everything that I wanted and did not need any changes. He provided some simple instruction to prep me - drink plenty of water eat a good meal before and get plenty of rest. Your body will heal faster if you do. I came back about a week later and started on the first part of my session. I could probably write a book on how amazing my experience was with him..but I bet you are getting tired already. In a nutshell..this shop was amazing and Isaac Davis is phenomenal! I did a 1/4 sleeve for my first tattoo with full color. It is 2 years later and the color is still as beautiful as after I first healed. I am constantly stopped and asked where I had it done and how beautiful it is.

Came here for my first tattoo and could not wish for a better experience. Everyone was so outgoing and awesome, the vibe you get upon entering the shop is just so welcoming and makes you feel comfortable instantly calming any nerves and ensuring that you will have a great experience! The artists are extremely professional, constantly checking on you during the tattoo, asking if you need anything, water, a break, etc. Personally drove 2.5 hours to the shop, and will 100% be coming back with ease. Matt Perlmans artistry and work is beyond immaculate, clean and, overall beautiful. His personality also really made this experience worthwhile because he is super awesome, funny, sociable, and professional. He will work with you on your ideas/ make them come to life, and was excited about working on the piece as much as I was getting it. Had a black and gray, realism, wolf/dreamcatcher done on my upper thigh. His detail and shading is breathtaking, the eyes practically stare at you from anywhere in the room and look so glossy and life like! He listened to everything I had to say leading up to the day of the tattoo, concerning style, and points of interest where certain detail meant so much to me, also understanding that it was my first tattoo, and that I am a very picky/particular person, but as expected he blew me away and delivered perfection. Extremely worth the trip and time, expecting to come back for not only my tattoo needs, but my friends and familys as well! Thanks again!!

I would like to thank Phil Carlucci and the entire Aces High Team. As each time I have come into the shop to get my work done I have had such an enjoyable experience. The shop atmosphere, cleanliness, professionalism, location, hospitality and overall experience is exceptional. However it’s the true talent at Aces High Tattoo and the way they make you feel so welcome, and secure knowing you are going to come away with a tremendous piece of art on your body that puts it over the top as a destination of choice and the premiere tattoo experience in Florida, and the East Coast. Whether it’s new work, cover ups, re-coloring, discussing options, or just to pop in and say hello, the experience is always tremendous. Each artist is long tenured, and unlike other shops, when Aces High does have a need for new talent, they won’t just hire anyone off the street. They take their time to search and find top talent throughout the country to become a member of the Aces High Team. I look forward to my next visit and again wanted to say thanks so much to the fine staff, and especially a true artist, Phil Carlucci whose talent is unmatched and who I now consider a lifetime friend.

Went into the shop to get a quote on some tattoos for my husband and I because I was told they do not quote via email. Upon arrival, Chip proceeded to assist me. I explained to him and showed him the picture of the tattoos I would like and what my husband would like. He started off by telling me I should get my tattoo facing a certain way for one and to not get the one on my hand too small. So I felt like he was trying to change my mind. He told me the shop min is $60 which their website clearly says $50. He quoted me a high price on our tattoos and I am on a budget, so I asked him if I drop certain things on the tattoo and just get something simple what would the price be. When I repeated back the information to him that he gave me, he said I was trying to confuse him and just to come in so he can draw up a sketch. I was hoping to go to this shop and get clear information on how much money to bring when I get my tattoos, but left aggravated and feeling like I was trying to be ripped off. I had high expectations upon arrival because I was referred by a friend and I see the great reviews online. I will never go back to this shop and will never recommend to anyone.

Hi everyone. I’m writing to say that on Saturday, 09/05/15 I got my first tattoo. The Artist, Mr. Phil Carlucci was very patient and understanding. He took his time and created a masterpiece. Everyone at Aces were very nice. The shop was very busy and during my time there I witnessed customers who were very complimentary with their tattoos so I am assuming that the other Artists are also very good indeed. I was at the shop for over five hours (hence the patient comment for Phil) so I saw a lot that impressed me. The only suggestion I could make would be being this is South Florida, Aces should have some bottled water to hand out (COSTCO). Other than that, the whole experience was fantastic! I’m already working on my next idea and I’m afraid I may not have enough body material since I am definitely hooked! *So after I posted this review I remembered one important point I wanted to make. The people who tattoo us are not waiters or waitresses, they are “Artists” and hence a 20% tip isn’t enough in my opinion. I tip 30% PLUS since what these people do is to create art and art isn’t cheap! Dave Bobrowsky
