So I am in no way affiliated with these store owners other than I went there once to buy some supplies. I had to write that disclaimer and you will understand why. I live in East Orlando which is probably 45 minutes away from this shop. I went there during the holidays and found that they were closed until Jan 2nd. So Im thinking no big deal I will come back another time, when the owner pops out of another shop and says he would open up just for us. So that was my first thought that these people are gonna be great to work with. We got into there store, which was in a brand new building, and saw all of the products laid out in nice and neat rows with plenty of room to walk around. The owner asked what he could help me find so I proceeded to give him my shopping list as we walked around all the isles picking out the things I need and answering questions about the things I wasnt sure about. I dont know much about making beer and wine, and if you are in the same boat they are more then happy to walk you through the whole process and give you the run down on equipment necessary to do what you want. If you wanna start a new hobby or need some supplies to keep your hobby going, these are the people to go to. They will have my business for life.

There are really not enough good things I can say about The Homebrew Store. This was the first store that i came to when I ventured into the world of homebrewing about 6 months ago. Since then, I have been to all the other homebrew shops in Orlando and one in Sanford. Without a doubt this is the best, and I would rather give my money to Marla and Jim than anyone else. The owners really care about there customers and have pride in their products and business. They have event stayed open a bit later on occasion when I told them I may be a bit late. They have a huge selection of beer and wine making items. A nice amount of fresh hops grains and yeast. Their prices are comparable to all other and definitely cheaper than online stores. They also have equipment that allows you to make your beer and ferment it at their facility! This is the go to homebrew shop in Orlando. Pro Tip - If you pay cash and order online, you get a slight discount.

This was a great experience. I went in to get a brew kettle and burner. I had a lot of questions on different things Ive read up on and extra equipment I thought would be a necessity. When I walked in they were in the middle of assisting someone with bottling his brew. Mind you, they helped him brew the beer in the shop (at no cost to him except for the ingredients to the recipe). Anyway, a woman walked right over to me and asked if there was anything she could help with. I explained what I was in the market for and she actually talked me out of the item I originally came in for. She talked me into a much less expensive product. I could really rant and rave about my GREAT experience, but I will leave it at this. Having gone to the few brew shops in central Florida, this will be my home shop for brewing needs. Mind you, my home is an hour and fifteen minutes away from the shop :P Thanks for the great service!!

Both of the people who run this store are absolutely amazing! They are always super informative and some of the friendliest people ever. Theyre not out just to make a buck either, as theyll suggest ways to save money with their products or recycling your own. Im always impressed when I go to this store and Ill certainly remain a loyal customer who drives from Orlando to visit. They even give free lessons on how to brew and allow you to use their equipment to see if its a hobby youll want to invest in or not.

My wife and I have been making wine for over 15 years and recently moved into the area. Weve won a lot of amateur wine making competitions over the years so we know our way around fermentation :-) We checked out The HomeBrew Store to see if they have all the supplies we needed and were pleasantly surprised. The Homebrew Store has all the essentials for wine and beer making plus a helpful friendly staff.

Definitely a place to visit if youre planning on becoming a homebrewer. A must if you live in the St. Cloud / South Orlando area. Afable, patient and super didactical, youll be hard pressed to find a nicer staff. Theyre also incredibly shocked with everything you can find online at the same or even better prices. Support local businesses and visit the place! You wont regret it.
