My daughter and I walked in on a Sunday afternoon with a Marshalls bag (had just made a purchase from there) and a box of Brooks running shoes that I was returning, due to wrong size. For whatever reason, when we walked through the door, an alarm was triggered and I immediately handed the box of shoes to the attendant (receipt inside) and my daughter with the Marshalls bag stood to wait. Another attendant with a male attendant in tow, immediately accosted my daughter, took the Marshalls bag from her arm and turned it upside down and let the articles with receipt fall to the floor and said, "I dont know why the alarm went off". I had to pick up our articles and receipt and put back in our bag. It was so disrespectful and discourteous! My daughter was mortified, as shoplifters we are not! We then proceeded back to the running shoes to find my proper size and they did not have an 8 1/2 in stock. The manager came over and said she could order the proper size for me and when we got to the register she assured me that I would be getting 2 day free shipping and would have them by the following Tuesday at the latest. It is now Wednesday, and after tracking the shipping, I find out it will be Friday at the earliest! I should have never let her order them for me, but I love these shoes and I was returning the ones that were the wrong size. On top of all the prior issues above, I then have the manager ring up my order and hand me a store gift card with the $20.00 on it that was the difference from the returned shoe to the shoe that was ordered for me. That was my $20.00 that should have been returned to me in money, to put back in my wallet to spend however I saw fit, not put on a DSW card to only be used in their store! Horrible, horrible customer service!!!

This company carries a wide variety of shoes to choose from. The prices are a little high for this area but there are often sales, clearance, or customer rewards through their benefits program. This is a chain store which is why the pricing is the way that it is. The store is clean. The staff offers to help and can order shoes from other stores if they dont have the size you need. Although this store has many shoe options, it also carries a variety of other accessories such as socks, bags and jewelry.

Walked in to find a pair of Ecco mens shoes. I have bought my last 3 pairs here. When I couldnt find them as asked at the front count. She relayed that she was told they were on the wall. I made a second pass and could not find them. When the second person finally arrived, see immediately said she could find them online. I could have done that. What happened to good old fashioned customer service. They could not be bothered. I will never return to this store.
