For the second time I have been treated very rudely by a salesperson. I often shop when I am in a hurry and do not try things on. I bought two pairs of jeans and told the saleslady that if they do not fit I will bring them back. She said that was fine. I unfortunately met with a very rude young woman named Dawn. Before she even looked at the items she abruptly informed me that she does not take anything back that is not in her department. If these are designer shoes she cannot bring them back. I said nothing and just glared at her. She yanked the jeans out of the bag and began to put them in the register. Then she looked back at the other items and said these are some really nice items what is wrong with them. I said nothing again knowing that the return policy does not require me to answer this rude woman. She then said that the register was telling her she had to give me a gift receipt and that she could only refund me the card that I used to buy them. (I HAPPEN TO KNOW THAT THIS IS ALL A LIE) The receipt was in the bag (which I do not need by the way) when I showed it to her she then said she could refund it to my account. I dont know who this woman thinks she is but when I asked her that question she informed me that she did not think she was being rude. I informed her that is precisely her problem. I dont know what is going on with this Nordstroms I have shopped in them all over the US and never encountered this type of treatment. If they are being paid only commission and therefore believe that that justifies treating a customer with a return like this then they are cutting their on throats

My wife and I were shopping at this Nordstroms location (My wife is an employee at another location.), and we had some difficulties with an employee. We were shopping for salon shoes. My wife did not have her store card on her but did have a credit card and her employee number. The staff at this location then began telling us that they needed to verify whether she was an employee. Eventually, service experience was called and we were told that without the employee card, my wife could not use her discount. The saleswoman, Stephanie, then told us that that service experience would be called again and she blatantly faked a phone call and told us the discount would not be given. We know this is not how Nordstrom operates and we are embarrassed after the service today. This location has forever lost our business and we are extremely disappointed in what has transpired today.

Tried to purchase a gift certificate. Stood at the register for 2 minutes with one salesperson waiting on someone and another sales person came up and never acknowledged me standing there. Then another salesperson came up and still was not acknowledged. Finally I just left the store.

Very rude! I have problems every time I come to this Nordstrom. And they dnt have a junior or children department. And I love trading with Nordstrom but this one is the worst.
