Where shopping is full of anxiety and stress because the employees are not properly trained/rude and lazy. Products are good. Store is clean. Bakers gave me and a friend food poisoning. I go into this publix and employees will park carts directly in front of you in the isle blocking your path as though youre not there. Ive grown to expect this from customers but I know publix holds to a higher standard than that. After an anxiety filled shopping experience, I get in line at the cash register... The cashier was cuban and barely spoke English. I speak spanish but not all publix customers do. Were in the U.S.A. where English is the national language... So the cashier was very curteous and attentive to the cuban customer but when I was up, she (Angela) completely ignored me. She held a full on conversation with the bagger in spanish and never once looked up at me. Never greeted me or even said goodbye. Just completely ignored me while speaking in a language she thought I couldnt understand to her co-worker. If this wasnt rude enough, I asked for cigarettes when she was ringing it up butshe ddidnt hear me because she was deep in conversation in another language. So I payed for my groceries and then asked again for cigarettes. She looked at me for the first time....like I had three heads! She shook her head (no) and told me I have to go stand in line again at customer service to get cigarettes. She did this right in front of the manager Michelle but Michelle was busy and didnt notice. I yelled at her and told her that she could get fired for that and it SHOULD be true. After yelling at her she asked the bagger to get the cigarettes. I said "dont worry about it. I need to go to customer service to talk to the manager about your job." Im not one to complain about something like this because I understand that everyone has bad days.... but this is not an isolated incident. This happens every time I go into that store and many other customers have a similar experience. Please train the employees again and perhaps some mystery shoppers to help management figure out who doesnt care about their job and replace them. Theres at least 20,000 people in miami looking for a job.

This Publix was my go-to grocery store for the 5 years living in the Dadeland area. Almost everyday (did my best to stock up on food to prevent repeated trips) I shopped here on weekends or after work (I parked at Dadeland South Station after taking the train). I never really had a problem in the store, although the parking can be crazy with rude and blind drivers. Also inside the store it can be really busy. As I discovered you have a lot of condos, office buildings, etc in the area so everybody shops there. Going inside you are looking into a huge store with items pretty much almost always stocked. Large assortment of everything, huge Greenwise section of its own (not crazy with other Publixs that its mixed up). Staff was mixed, in terms of some were friendly to help and some were not. You have a couple of cashiers that barely spoke English, smh. One staff member I miss though is Terry who does the cooking for Aprons. Love her to death. We always greeted each other and ended up having a conversation only when she was preparing the food, not serving haha! Especially food tips! All in all my experiences at this Publix was pretty good. P.S. this review is based on before the remodeling :)

OMG RUDEST Deli associate ever. New years eve Midway, I went with some friends who are on holiday to order some cold cuts to celebrate and the Deli associate Ms. Jasinta attitude was just terrible and confrontational she treated me as if I was a beggar. and that my presence there was bothering her. " find someone else, thats not my job, I only make platters" with callous facial expression and then turning her back to me, then laughing it up with another associate . I had to seek out another Deli associate who thankfully serviced me. but to have someone behave and speak to me like that after years of loyalty to publix. lets me know that I am not valued as a customers and I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO SHOP AT PUBLIX EVER!!!

New to the area and previously shopped at publix where I used to live and always found it to be a great store. This location however, after my first visit and now also my last- seriously lacks in the produce department. Literally everything from baby carrots to tomatoes and bananas along with ALL the other produce I bought from here went bad in less than 5 days. The baby carrots as it turns out upon further inspection actually were expired the day before I bought them (I should have checked but then again why would they let expired produce sit on shelves??). Hoping the other publix nearby does better in the produce department - otherwise Im stuck with whole (paycheck) foods.

This location has recently gone for face-lift, theyve gotten ride of all of the English speaking employees and have now hired people who are not competent enough to form an English sentence. Granted Im not the authority on the English language but what I am is a business owner. if my employees did speak English IN A ENGLISH SPEAKING COUNTRY I would not Hire them. I dont quite get what was wrong with the employees who worked there previously. they ran a tight ship. idk what this store manager is up to but it definitely is bad for publixs business. I have to look for the senior employee in order to get anything done. they need to retraining or replace the staff

its big, clean, bright and organized (truly a 5 star shopping experience). While MOST of the staff is overly friendly every once in a while you will come across one with a nasty attitude but thats anywhere im sure. they will cook your seafood for you, season it and everything! the bakery section has as large of a selection as an actual bakery and their doughnuts are much better than dunkins Their flowers are also as nice and way cheaper than a florist. Huge selection and they last for 2 weeks when you combine the flower food w a shot of Listerine. Definitely the nicest Publix on Miami beach.

The folks in the back stocking the store, produce meats,And the elderly lady in the bakery are willing to help you on the moment. The deli I try to avoid. They all look unhappy in the position they are in.The Manager of the store a African American is very unprofessional in many areas. And the cashiers dont speak English very well and clear to the sound. The store is great and the prices are good.Overall they need a nicer more friendlier manage not to,but I notices everything I come in.Send her back to school of love.
