WOW is all I can say. Right when you walk in the doors, the luxury and majesty catches you by surprise. The sales people are so nice and helpful. They answer any question you have, while giving you the space you need to browse around the magnificent store. They literally have everything fabric from upholstery to mens tailoring to their specialty in womens fabrics and dresses. They have the little things like buttons and needles to the bigger, more elaborate fabrics for amazing in-store made dresses. The first floor is amazing, but the true brilliance is when you reach the second floor. The upper deck is jaw-dropping. It is so luxurious and opens your eyes to the wonders fabrics can do. The managers and the owner are always around in the presence of the sales to make sure everything is better than you expected and they make sure you are comfortable in their business. My favorite part of Rex Fabrics is definitely the Cuban espresso they make and offer to everyone in the store. They made me feel at home and was one of the best places I have gladly spent my money. I recommend this store to anyone who really wants to be taken out of this world by the world of fabrics and the loveliness of people who truly work for the customer.

If you are looking for a Tailor made suit to your exact measurements, this is the place to go. As an attorney, I am a professional and in Court constantly. I was long overdue for my first custom suit and couldnt have picked a better place than Rex Fabrics. When other attorneys ask me about my suit, I know Im wearing something that stands out while maintaining professionalism. The even better feeling was showing them the inside where my name was stitched and it clearly shows this suit was made to order, just for me. The staff there is the best. They treat you like a king and make you feel like the only person in the store. They truly know what they are doing and know the value of customer service. I cant tell you how pleased I was to discuss what I was looking for and to hear their advice and suggestions was very helpful. The turnaround time was really fast and as for the product itself, in my opinion, no one compares to what they give you. Simply put, if you are looking to get this done, look no further.

I LOVE this fabric store! The selection is completely overwhelming which is why it helps to have some assistance. I have had a positive experience each time Ive visited - with 3 different salespeople, Amparo, Juan and most recently, Victoria. There is every kind of fabric imaginable for the serious couturier or designer. Yes, there are some very high priced fabrics - one of the beaded fabrics I purchased yesterday was $700/yard. Its hand-beaded in Italy - what would you expect to pay for this? I do have to agree that the smell is really strong and it stays with the fabric - I do have to wash all of my fabrics. This is something I do no matter where I order from - you may be surprised to learn that you can wash silks - I use the Laundress products in a lingerie bag - I dont work for them or get compensated for sharing this info, just a tip...Im just happy that I can shop locally and not have to travel to NY to find specialty fabrics so Ill deal with the smell.

Last week I visited Rex Fabrics looking for the fabric "Pink Peau De Soie" to make a dress for the wedding of my sister in law. From the moment I walked into the store I was amazed. Everything was clean and organized. There were presentations of dresses in mannequins that really caught my attention; they were so beautiful! The attention I received was magnificent. In some other places, the employees agglomerate around you to help you and you get stuck in the place without even being able to walk. However, Josefina, a really nice employee, came to me and helped me. The process of selection of the fabric and design of the dress was simple and effective. She made everything easier and I was really satisfied with the service. As soon as I left the store I called my friends who were going to the wedding and didnt have a dress yet and recommended them Rex Fabrics. They are really amazing and good at their jobs.

I went to this store on 6-23-15. One of the oldest associates ask me what I wanted and I replied that I was shopping around, trying to see what fabric to buy (I live in a small town in Tennessee where the only fabric store in miles is Joanns). This lady proceeded to follow me very closely, and I asked her the price of a fabric she said $150. I continued to look at the fabric and notice the price was a lot less than that and I told her. The lady began patronizing me and said: there! This fabric is less expensive!. I felt really bad and said that I wasnt looking a cheap fabric but a good one. She sneered at me, like I was begging for a scrap of fabric. I have bought fabric here before, the ladies has been very helpful and nice. I felt so badly treated that I left the store with empty hands. Sorry to tell you I wont go back. I prefer to spend my money where I feel welcome.

This store is simply amazing! My experience here at Rex Fabrics was amazing. I have never in my life seen a fabric store with such high quality fabrics, my mouth dropped as I walked into the store. This store literally has everything, its your one stop shop! They also have a decorative fabrics section, and a mens fabrics section. They carry the top 5 mens lines in fashion fabrics for men; Loro Piana, Holland & Sherry, Zegna, Scabal, and Dormeuil among many others. I actually had a suit made here last week and it came out amazing, it truly is a custom bespoke tailored suit! i definitely recommend this store! Such great service!

I am a bridal seamstress. I live in the Fort Myers area and travel nearly 3 hours back and forth to go to this store. I have brought my clients into the store to have a say in the price and style of the Laces and other fabric needed to complete their projects. I also have had to send my clients in without me to choose expensive fabric so a knowledgeable Sales person is a must.Blanca has always been an excellent sales person.
