I would like state that I have been coming to this publix for 20 + years. I will no longer be going to this publix instead going to the one on 147th avenue and Bird road. I have had it with no one speaking an ounce of english in this publix. If you dont speak Spanish can you be nice and say one second and direct me to someone who does. No need to yell at a customer. I asked the cashier who was reading a magazine in a closed aisle. Can I use your shopping cart if your not using it. The shopping cart was empty. She said yes. So I grabbed the shopping cart but then she grabbed the cart back and said no. Yelled at me and said dis mine. Im like ok. So I was like so do you speak English? She said yes. I then stated ok, why cant I use the cart. She yelled with frustration yes. It was clear that she didnt speak english now. I just left and decided to go to another publix. I dont understand how publix is hiring non english speaking employees.

I know this is Miami, but its really annoying that out of 12 employees I try to ask a question, not one understood me, even one of the managers are not completely bilingual, at the Publixs in other counties like Palm Beach, Martin, and St Lucie, the employees who deal directly with customers all speak English, the other person who understood me was a grocery clerk, who was there on his day off, came into the store to flirt with a customer service staff girl who also didnt speak English

Dear PUBLIX, Enough with asking for donations. I am sick of being asked for a dollar every time I go to check out it is really annoying. I dont have money to be donating to charity. How about PUBLIX just donating money from their own profits instead of asking their customer to do it for them. Every year i dread shopping at PUBLIX when they start their donation drive. I am considering just not shopping there anymore and i am sure many people feel the same as myself.

Normally, EVERY visit to Publix is wonderful, every one all over the state - but today, ugh. I went to get some gluten free bagels, as Ive done at a half dozen Publixs before. I couldnt find them, so I went for help. By the time they finally gave up and told me that Publix no longer carries frozen gluten free goods. This is despite the dozen or so types of gluten free waffles and pancakes and another four or five types of gluten free breads. Very disappointed.

I have been going to this Publix since 1986, I decided I few weeks ago never to step foot in that store again and I havent and never will. The clientele is disgusting and the employees arent much better. They should have just sold it to Sedanos since thats exactly what its like now. Terrible place! Just because it added the word Sabor doesnt mean people shouldnt have to speak a lick of english, this is still the USA, last I checked!
