Miami certainly isn’t short on juice shops, but the latest juice shop Dr. Smood is looking to stand out from the pack. The sleek shops have already opened popular outposts in Wynwood and South Miami and is looking to rapidly expand throughout Miami and NYC – probably soon to a neighborhood near you. The stores are the brain child of Danish business man René Sindlev, who happens to be the co-founder of jewelry brand Pandora, and his wife Italian architect, model and actress, Patrizia Manici Sindlev. They thought of the concept while in René’s home country and spent two years working on it before bringing it first to the Miami market. The menu features a variety of USDA certified organic cold-pressed juices, sandwiches, coffee, tea, shakes and other interesting bites like vegan-friendly cinnamon rolls, power food salads and healthy desserts. Each one comes with a color-coded label that lets you know what benefits you’ll receive from it like immunity, beauty, energy and so on, helping give the store the moniker – good for every mood. We got to try a few of the bites and drinks including the surprisingly good-for-you Organic DrS Hawaj Shake filled with items like almond milk, dates, cacao butter and Irish moss; the apple-based organic Green Juice that was actually deliciously easy to drink; the Turkey Sandwich made with house-made, low-carb bread and the Cinnamon Rolls that you couldn’t even tell were missing the bread and the sugar.

The force behind this budding fast-casual chain is actually a couple; Danish businessman René Sindlev famously founded the jewelry company Pandora, and his Italian wife Patrizia Manici Sindlev was a model and architect in her first career. To open their cafes, which serve only organic, kosher, and non-GMO juices, snacks, and coffee, they partnered with a doctor to develop recipes that support cleansing and nutrition, including three whole-foods cleanse programs that you can mix and match for up to seven days. Even if youre not doing a full-on cleanse, its a great place to pick up a salad or juice to go, or to meet colleagues for a working lunch (each is equipped with solid Wifi). The original is in Wynwood, but they now have a location in Brickell, too—were keeping an eye out for their New York launch later this year.

This is going to be next best hangout spot in Wynwood, mark my words. From the moment you walk up it is blatantly obvious that this place is unique an really awesome. The way this place is arranged to the color scheme chosen its clear that youre going to like it so much here youll want to stay for hours. The staff is incredibly charming and welcoming and you can tell its genuine not just for show since its the first night they open. I only had the time to order a tea but they were kind of enough to offer free samples of a few of their juices. Im looking forward to going back! This place is going to add some serious competition to the neighborhood and its exciting!

We love this place! We love everything about it! At The Creatives Loft Miami Wedding Planning Studio, we seek for cool places in our neighborhood and this is one of those spots! We love going there to grab a coffee, host some of our meetings with cool and creative people! Let us tell you...a lot of beautiful and creative projects have been originated from this spot! We recommend all their menu! The Smoothies and Juices are amazing! Coffees are also really really good and the decor they have...we love it! Its like being in LA or San Diego...NYC or San Francisco! Nicely decorated with great service, but the rest is a rip-off, for two small sandwiches with two coffees and a smoothie $46 dollars we had asked to get a little more milk in one of our coffee they charged us $4.50 dollars extra. Not even Whole Foods charges extra after you spent money with them for extra milk. Be cautious and prosed at your own risk.

First of all, it is expensive compared to most smoothie / juice and sandwich shops..but the qaulity, nutrients, taste and care that goes into the preparation is worth it in my opinion. The atmosphere is a continued refection of Dr. Smoods attention to detail. Great place to pop into, grab a health drink or bite and relax or catch up with a friend.

Very good health-centric Cafe with an astounding atmosphere, as well as price tag. The menu stretches from signature beverages, hot sandwiches, to a selection of coffees and juices. Worth a stop by just to get out of the rain and enjoy the ambiance.
