Okay, so Im not one for one-star reviews. Even places I dont like get three stars, but my entire experience went above and beyond with this one. Not even my in-store experience, but rather what I brought home. I didnt even expect much from this store! I went to ALDI, curious, as we are new in town and I like to know all my shopping options. I was totally fine with the cart deposit (though it was a huge turn off to my husband) and didnt have any other issues in store. It reminded me of a Grocery Outlet (I believe they are only on the west coast, where Im from). It was clean enough, had a basic selection (a little bit of everything though), and good enough prices (not good enough to justify the horrible quality, though). Im going to list off everything we bought, followed by what went good/bad. Take home pizza to bake $5 - Good size pizza, was good enough quality for a take home. Was impressed. Loaf of bread $2 - Had mold spots the next day Sliced provolone cheese $3? - Good value, still good a week later, pleased with purchase Ice cream $3 - NO, worst ice cream Ive had in my life Bag of white potatoes $3 - Made the strangest mashed potatoes in my life, they had a bad consistency, yuck. Bag of onions $2 - sprouted within a couple days Canned veggies - So far so good, no complaints Thats all I can remember for now. Bottom line, I didnt expect much, and thats exactly what I got. I will not be returning, and also wont be recommending to anyone. Dont waste your money here, Walmart has the same prices and food that atleast wont go bad in a day or make you sick. They also dont make you rent their carts. Lol

Very (unpolished)?....feels like a mini Costco, usually only 1-2 employees running the whole store. But they do all this to cut back on cost & IT WORKS!... there prices are amazing & their food brand is very good & geared towards healthy eating through the ingredients they use, you wont find (aspartame, fluoridated water, bleached flour, etc) in almost any of their frozen or prepared foods, better ingredients than any other supermarket Ive been to & cost much, much less....so if you dont mind packing your own groceries & your willing to overlook perfectly even stocked shelves for insanely better prices & prepared foods than Aldi is great, it sits 50 yards away from a WalMart Super Center & has held its own against the giant for years.....

Great prices! The selection is smaller than most chain supermarkets but it is definitely possible to get everything you need. The majority of their food is organic and health conscious. You have the option to buy meat in bulk for lower prices, as well. I have been here when things were being marked down and received a 20 pack of chicken wings for $1! You will have to bring your own bags (they have the option to purchase) and a quarter to retrieve the cart (you get it back upon replacement). The only reason I give this store 4 stars is because their selection changes from week to week. Other than that, this is my favorite spot to shop!

I ventured into this Aldi store out of curiosity. I had never visited one before and decided to check it out. First off, there were no shopping carts to be found. I know that they have them because I saw people using them. The selection was limited and most of the brands were unknown to me. I discovered later that this is their thing, which I am okay with. The shopping experience was strange to me. Maybe if they put up some signs explaining how it is supposed to work, it may have helped. I will try and go to another location to see if the experience gets any better.

It is unbelievable how much money you can save by shopping here, and I have found no difference in quality from more expensive brands. In fact, many things I regularly get here are better than at traditional grocery stores. The frozen chicken is Kirkwood, which is made by Tyson, the produce is fresh but a little overpackaged. The checkout lines can get a little long before they call to open a register up, but I definitely recommend Aldi for those on a budget or just wishing to shop smarter.

The prices are super low, as Aldi stores always have great deals. The produce (one of the main reasons I go to these stores) didnt seem as fresh as usual and the ground beef that I purchased was well before its sell by date but it had gone bad, literally causing me to gag when I opened the package... Im wouldnt recommend purchasing your meat at this Aldi unless youre positive its ok, otherwise the store does have good deals and can save you quite a bit of money.

You cant beat Aldis. Natural food, gluten free options, prices are insane . However they are unlike any other store . Hopefully you know before going or getting angry about it; that you need a quarter to get a cart (you get it back as soon as you put the cart back in ) & that you should bring your own bags but that they do have bags available for 5 cents each if you need them.

Not a fan. I understand the bag it yourself, but to not allow bagging to occur as the items are rung up is ridiculous. Cashier literally threw the items into the cart and wouldnt let me bag them. Sorry, the little savings isnt worth it. Went directly back to Publix, where customer service is a highlight.

Gluten free specialty store. All their products are different brands and low prices. I have liked everything from chips and cookies to sausage and ice cream. Bring your own bags and a quarter for the cart. Quarter is instantly refunded on cart return. Often good veggies and fruits at low prices.

Love this store: the prices beat any grocery store in Tampa Bay. 1 lbs of German good coffee bellow $5; American singles $1.60; cheap eggs, and butter; chips and nuts; quality European chocolate, beautiful cut meat; fresh and supper cheap veggies, frozen food.. you name it.

They always have what I need. The food is very high quality. If you have any issues at all, they will take back whats wrong, no questions asked, give you a replacement AND refund your money. AMAZING customer service.

Aldi stores are different mostly because the category of their "Aldi Finds" merchandise changes every week. And noone ever knows what fun/useful/different/quality products might be available next - at a great price!

Amazingly cheap food, including probably the best prices on organic. Generally a big selection on organic food, especially produce. The only problem is they sometimes run out of a lot selection until they restock.

Aldis is great. They carry a unique variety of items at great prices. Fresh produce, household items, frozen and fresh items. Dont forget to bring your own bags and a quarter to borrow the shopping cart.
