(Cue horror music) Sushi inside grocery markets! Noooo. But a rumbling stomach, aching wallet, and my overwhelming curiosity brought me here… and my fears were for NOTHING! The market is tiny—only two short aisles—and in the back is the small sushi counter. My rolls (JB, Dynamite, and Fish Katsu) were excellent! Simple and traditional. Any accompanying sauces like Dynamite and Eel were placed to the side and actually didn’t look like the sauces I was used to (watery and spiked flavors) Although your dining area is not typical (two short counters in the front) this is an excellent place to get sushi take-out… with prices comparable to those grocery markets.

This little Japanese market is my favorite place to eat in South Florida. Its a wonderful little hole in the wall but the Sushi bar serves easily the best Sushi Ive ever had. Theres a couple places to sit while you eat but half the fun of this place is roaming the, admittedly tiny, room and perusing the authentic Japanese foods, drinks, and merchandise such as tea sets, chop sticks, ingredients, desserts, etc. The price is another thing to love. In addition to making the best Sushi in town, it is also the cheapest! Tldr: 20/10 I cannot recommend this place highly enough!!!

What a gem! When I lived downtown this was my favorite sushi place. It is definitely a favorite amongst locals because at a low price you can get really delicious sushi. The counter to order is in the back of the Japanese market and while you wait for your food to be prepared you can browse all the fun things from Japan.

Awesome sushi (tied with Sushi Song as the best in town, but the prices are literally half of what they charge!) and friendly, helpful staff. Also try the green tea sweetened with jasmine they sell, its the bomb. Its become a regular stop for me. Great small business.

I love this place. Great sushi and Japanese market. You can order to go or dine at small tables in the front. They are always so friendly and pleasant. Most Def recommend this place to anyone looking for low key deliciousness!

Great sushi!! One protip call ahead, as they can get busy even if you are eating there. Also they have very little seating so order for pickup if you are going with more than two people.

Awesome find, go to the back, order off menu, grab a drink from the cooler and go sit at one of the tables up front and they will bring food out to you, then pay after.
