I have to say that even now in 2011, the one lady at the cashier stand is VERY RUDE...the other lady, is quite nice and friendly. She always takes time to help you with prices if the tags are missing and is pleasant. The other lady, no matter how nice you are to her, sometimes doesnt even respond when you say hello, how are you today? I ALWAYS put all of my items in low to high price on the counter top, to help the cashiers out, and she just scoops them up and stuffs them into a bag and doesnt seem to care that you have taken time to put in price order for her ease in ringing items up. The men on the floor however, are quite a different story. THEY ARE ALL SUPER, and always friendly and more than helpful ALL THE TIME. It is a pleasure shopping there UNTIL I GET TO THE CHECKOUT, unless the Asian lady is there to check me out. In a time when everyone needs a job, how sad that the other lady HAS ONE, and doesnt seem to feel being pleasant is part of her job. Oh well, I save money there all the time, and LOVE everything that I search around to discover. God bless in all the great work that you all do in helping those in need. I am happy that I can do my little bit in supporting it by shopping there. I almost NEVER SHOP at the mall.

You have to really watch the prices in this place, as with all thrift stores. Some items, especially their furniture, are very highly priced, to the point of it being cheaper to buy brand new. I didnt find any loveseats for less than $200, even the ones that are torn and stained, with broken or scratched legs. Their small appliances are good, but you must test them out first! A couple of weeks ago I got a microwave for $12. The pots and pans also seem to be overpriced - $10 for a 4-quart pot with bits of food still in it and massive dents all around the outside. I also found their cashiers to be rude, but the men working the sales floor were polite and answered all of my questions. So go, but dont think that just because its a thrift store that you are actually going to get a great deal. And examine all of your purchases before you pay!

Couches go up to $450.00 , and theyre not stain free. Wild pattern/out dated and definitely used quality couches+chairs are about $300. I understand a select few yellow tag items have a percentage off but come on. To Salvation Army: The items are donated, and should be priced for someone shopping in a thrift store.Youre not Ashley Furniture, you are a "non-profit". Do the most good by pricing items at an affordable price. You can move things faster and accept more products coming in this way. Until then I will shop at & donate to local chruch-based thrift stores.

Great Prices ? Seriously ? Compared to what ? The Salvation Army gets donations for items and then prices them at 80% of their SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE ! I just left the US 19 Clearwater store. They have mens athletic shorts , shirts , jackets from NIKE , ADIDAS , ETC. SIZE 2XL , MY SIZE. I CAN GET THE SAME STUFF CHEAPER AT DILLARDS . STOP DONATING TO SALVATION ARMY. ITS PITIFUL..

I really appreciated the young man who took the time to help show me the mattresses. The fact that the 2 other employees in the store decided to openly complain about the fact that he chose to do so by yelling across the store to each other from register to the back was a little annoying. I wish I could remember the mans name, hes a real keeper... The 2 women could be replaced.

This is the largest and nicest Salvation Army store Ive ever found. Awesome on Wednesdays when clothing is 50% off. Furniture selection is above-par for thrift stores and prices are great. Store is clean and doesnt smell. The parking lot could be larger, and sometimes the checkout line is long, but can deal with it for the cheap prices.

EXTREMELY RUDE!!! If your donation is not in pristine condition they will tell you they cannot accept it and insist you take it back. Talk about looking a gift horse in the mouth. No one will help you unload your vehicle. Id suggest taking your donations and business somewhere more appreciative.

Inexpensive and quality pre-owned items. New mattresses still in Packaging reasonably priced. Staff is very friendly and helpful. However out-of-towners shopping at the store can and will be rude. That is the only drawback. And the Canadians trying to switch the price tags for a cheaper item

Super disappointing! A lot of the clothes I saw had holes, rips, horrible stains, deodorant on the armpit area on tank tops and these items were still priced at $5-$10 when they really should have not been in the racks. They also didnt really have any toys! I wont be shopping there again.

Good prices, doesnt smell like most thrift shops do. They have discounts on a daily basis depending on what it is. Constantly getting new stuff in and theyre open a little bit later then other shops.

There are people to help unload the car. It is easy to get in and out. This charity operates on very low overhead and specifically helps the poorest children have food and know they are loved

Interesting blend of furniture, clothes, household goods, and even some art. Most stuff here is cleaner then the other similar resale stores in the area. Reduce, recycle, reuse. Love it!

If you buy vacumn cleaner and they dont work...cannot return them. Totally a waste of money!! $$ Really over priced on certain things. Even some items can be brought new at a less price.

Not much for selection for their overpriced stuff. Their sales/discounts depend on color of price tag on certain days- which you will never find that color on the day its on sale.

I didnt like this place at our past visit. Not a lot to see. But as thrift stores go it depends on the visit and what youre looking for.

Forgot the guys name that was working when I went, but he found my debit card I accidentally dropped somehow while buying an old stereo.

Nice Salvation Army location. Lived next door for 10 years and watched it become much nicer, much cleaner, and have friendlier staff.

Alway looking for (and finding) great deals here. Just wish the clothes were organized by size rather than color.
