After scouring the internet for places to sell my engagement ring, I tried my luck at Adler Jewelry Brokers. They had great reviews, and after researching, I realized a small, family operated business would be more trustworthy. I had previously tried a larger jewelry store (St. Pete) a few years back (I held on to the ring for bit), but quickly passed on that offer. Not only was the owner of that particular store rather pretentious, the offer was far from adequate. That whole experience was just plain uncomfortable and left me discouraged. Adlers, on the other hand, was a breath of fresh air. Its obvious the owner is passionate about his craft, and his genuine, calm demeanor put me at ease. He provided me with ample information on my ring and jewelry in general, and took his time with answering any/all questions I had. AND all of his assessment is done right in front of you -- theres no mystery to the current value of your gold or gems. You can see it firsthand. I felt instant relief as I left the store, and there was no doubt that I had made the right decision. Always do your research, but definitely make Adler Jewelry your first stop.

This business, off of Gulf to Bay in Clearwater, has been a business I have frequented before. But today I stopped by, and the owner, who was just arriving, opened the door for me as he stared down my blouse. Until this point, Id never met him before. But he went into his back office and as usual, the pleasant woman behind the counter weighed the bracelet I was looking at, and named the price of $50. "Great", I said, "Ill take it. Can you engrave it also?" This was a mistake. When the woman took the bracelet back to the owner to inquire, he immediately upped the price of the bracelet to $75, claiming that she had made a mistake because it was a brand name, despite the fact that they never sell according to brand but only silver weight. He also heartily assured me that even THIS was a bargain and I should be grateful. (Incidentally, it was merely a very lightweight, small bracelet made of welded together Reed & Barton silverware). Apparently, the owner thought he had seen a sucker. I turned down his counteroffer. I will not be frequenting here again, and I heartily recommend that everybody else avoid this crook, as well.

I can also attest to Brads honesty. A. Adler Jewelers is a family run business. Both Brad and his Mother run and operate the shop. I had a small amount of jewelry that I was going to take to Goodwill along with other items. I decided to stop in and see what Brad said about the jewelry. I learned that his buying evaluation process was really quite simple. He has a monitor that displays the current market prices of gold, silver and platinum. Brad tests the grade of the metal, then weights it, and then deducts 15% commission from the current market value. I also learned that Brad has decades of experience buying gemstones, so he can actually give you an equally fair price on the stones in your jewelry vs. other "buy gold here" guys, who will either give you back your stones (and less money), or they wont give you anything for the stones because they dont know what theyre buying. So, if you want a great deal, and to be treated with respect and honesty, go see Brad at A. Adler Jewelry Brokers. My pile of trinkets that I was going to give or throw away, netted me almost $300.

I was looking to sell 2 diamond rings, which I had previously went to a very known company and they informed me that my rings were worth only $8800 for the both. So I took my rings and left. I then found A. Adler and spoke with Brad and he was very open and informative about what to look for when selling and told me an amount that I should be offered for the rings. I took his information and went to another jeweler and found that the 3rd guy offered me even less than the first place I went to. So with the open communication and all the detailed information that Brad gave me while looking at the rings right in front of me, I went back to Brad and sold him the rings. I would definitely go back to him and would also recommend others to him.

I just bought my engagement ring from Brad. Im not a jewelry expert, but Brad took the time to really explain to me all the nuances of the diamonds cut, clarity, carat and color and helped me get the the perfect diamond for my bride to be! He really knows his stuff and I left feeling like I could not have got a better deal anywhere else! By the way, she LOVED it!!! 5 stars all the way!

Brad is the most honest jewelry broker in the business. Prices are displayed in plain view when you walk into his office. He weighs your pieces right in front of you. There is no haggling, no waiting to ask a boss or supervisor, no running around town looking for the best price. You can trust that you will get the best price for your unwanted pieces of jewelry.

Great service, excellent price, easy to access and find!. I worked with Brad and received a very good value for a couple of gold high school rings. Brad offered and paid about 20% more than then the guy down the street. If you’re selling your old jewelry see Brad.

Brad is very open about how he prices and i never felt uncomfortable working with him. I know he gave me a great price because I shopped around first. He did save me several hundred dollars.
