LApple Store dAltamonte est le pire Apple Store de tous ceux que jai visité. Mon MacBook est arrivé avec la vitre de mon Trackpad cassée, et est ressorti avec le disque dur HS. Non seulement, lorsque lon ma remit mon MacBook après la réparation du Trackpad, la personne ne ma JAMAIS montré létat de la réparation (peut-être pour me cacher le fait que lordinateur ne démarrait plus dû au fait que le disque dur était HS), et dune autre part le vendeur/conseiller du Genius Bar mavait dit quaucune sauvegarde nétait nécessaire puisquune réparation liée au Trackpad naffecte pas la mémoire du MacBook. Résultat, toutes mes données ont été supprimées suite à la réparation du disque dur (et bien évidemment je navais pas fait de sauvegarde récente, donc jai perdu une grande partie de mon travail). Etant un fidèle client dApple jai été extrêmement déçu par cette expérience à lApple Store dAltamonte. Un service de réparation incompétent, et une équipe de vendeur mettant le problème du disque dur sur ma faute. Pour ce problème je nai même pas eu le droit à un geste commercial! Je remet désormais en doute la probabilité dacheter un produit Apple à lavenir, vu le pitoyable SAV que jai reçu dans cet Apple Store. Apple Store of Altamonte is the worst Apple store I ever visited. My MacBook arrived with the glass of the trackpad broken, and it came out with the hard drive out of order. When I came back to pick up my MackBook (the 1st time), the seller never showed me the state of repair (perhaps to hide the hard drive out of order), and on the other hand the Genius Bar advisor told me that no backup was necessary because a repair related to Trackpad doesn’t affect the memory of the MacBook. Result, all my data was deleted after the repair of the hard drive (and of course I had not done recent backup, so I lost a much of my work). As a loyal customer of Apple I was extremely disappointed by this experience at the Apple Store of Altamonte. Repair service is incompetent and the sales team making the problem hard drive on my fault. For this problem I didn’t had a goodwill gesture! The customer service of this store is pitiful. RUN AWAY !

I have been an Apple customer since the 90s. I hate PCs and the level of service I have received in the past from every Apple employee in any situation: phone support, warranty support, turn around time, etc has been amazing. Altamonte Apple was the worst service and knowledge I have ever received. They need to clean house (for the most part). I will try to summarize: My macbook pro 10 months old hardrive began to fail. Finally when booting it gave me the drive ? and even when I connected it to other macs and try to use it as an external it was not recognized. I do not have the original OS disk so I had to go to the store to have the problem diagnosed and fixed. I live over an hour away so I booked an appointment and drove. I got there on time and the rep began the diagnostic test. The apple rep was very friendly and informed me that the hardrive was not fried, but I had corrupt files and I would need to back it up before he reset it. I did not have my external with me, but he said if I cam back with it he could quickly back it up and reset my computer and fix the issue. No problem. I made another appointment and came back a few days later with my external hardrive. I left 1.5 hrs before but traffic on i4 caused me to be 10 MINUTES late... I checked in and apologized for my lateness. The employee was non-sympathetic and told me I would have to get back in line.... I waited 3 HOURS... finally I asked what was taking so long and he rudely apologized and said i had "accidentally" been skipped... Twice... Did I mention its an hour drive for me? One way? The new tech rep finally sees me spends 5 min on the computer, does NOTHING... NO diagnosis nothing says my hardrive is done for and that they DO NOT DO DATA RETRIEVAL and he doesnt know why the other rep even bothered to tell me that. At this stage I am furious... he says he can fix it but it will take a week and I will lose all of my information. If I want my data retrieved I will have to go to a third party data retrieval specialist. The guy was a complete *&^ and the most useless customer service person I have ever dealt with. "So are you going to leave it or not?" he asks me. My friend who was with me even commented on how she gets better service at dell and she doesnt know why Ive been raving about apple for so many years when they treat me like that. Drive an hour home furious.... Speak with a few friends that are apple employees about what to do they calm me down and tell me to mail it to them and they will handle it. Did not want to inconvenience them so I go to a third party data retrieval they immidiatly gaurantee me that apple will fix the issue.... And not wanted to spend the $500-$1000 Im back to square one...I had given up at this point and just wanted my computer repaired. So I called.... And they told me to just drop it off no appointment necessary since it was already diagnosed. I get there and surprise surprise they tell me I need an appointment... I am delirious with anger, but decide to calmly tell the apple employee my situation, my story, and the fact that it has been a month dealing with this nonsense and I need a straight answer and my 10 month computer repaired. I was polite because I knew raging would get me nowhere and it was not his fault. Fortunately he was sympathetic to my situation and took care of me and put me at the front of the line. This was wednesday, when I dropped it off I just got it in the mail today, friday, two days later.... WORKING PERFECTLY WITH ALL MY DATA ON IT.... This is just an example of how a few terrible employees can ruin the reputation of a great company. I wasted over 6 hrs in driving, a ton of money in gas, bought a cheap pc to hold me over at work, all because the first two employees lack of proper knowledge... Had I gotten the third employee the first time things might have been different. I will no longer risk losing time and money at Altamonte...

WORST customer service at this store. Its been a week and a half of constant headaches with this Apple Store. Unfortunately, this store is the closest one to me as the other one is all the way by the Millennia Mall. First off, the appointment system is horrible. How is it possible that even when booking an appointment AHEAD of time, you still wait 40 minutes for someone to see you? Not to mention, you have to wait literally a week or more to get an appointment. Anyways, I go to my appointment because my laptop had damage (damage that wasnt even my fault), and they diagnose it and say its going to be $500 to fix. I JUST bought this brand new MacBook Pro a month ago & there was damage on the INSIDE of the screen that I did not do. I also purchased insurance for this computer. Long story short, I called Apple Care and they also said theres nothing they can do because its considered physical damage thats not covered under insurance. Fine, I accepted it and said whatever but I couldnt afford it at that time (Im a college student). So the rep told me I could just come back and drop it off when I could. I come back a week later to drop it off, and the guy tells me its a TWO HOUR wait...for what??!! I told him I just want to drop it off and I already got it diagnosed. He says itll still be a two hour wait and I can come back. I explained to him that I work and go to school and I just need my computer fixed and dropped off. And he STILL had no sympathy and I went off on my way because I couldnt wait two hours. Shortly after, I call the manager and explain to him the situation and he FINALLY says I can have my boyfriend or dad drop it off and hell expedite the process. He asked for my dads name and my boyfriends name and wrote notes in my work order. I was happy & left it at that. My computer is ready to be picked up, my boyfriend goes to pick it up, ANOTHER issue! They say hes not allowed to use my Barclay Card (under my dads name) to pick it up because his name is not on the card. I understand that perfectly, BUT how come when I spoke to the manager earlier he said we could pay with the card and have no issues?? Clearly theres a lot of miscommunication. I said, fine maybe it was on my end, so I left it at that. My dad goes in today, they say hes not on the list to pick it up?!!! HOW? I SPELLED out my dads name and everything when I spoke to this manager and Im 100% sure of that. Not to mention, me and my dad have the same last name and HE has the Barclay Card USED to purchase the computer...the computer is technically under his name. He gets there and waits 20 minutes just to even PICK UP the computer. Then they tell him his name isnt on the list to pick up the computer & he waits another 40 minutes for someone to help him out. I call the manager while hes there and she says he was never on the list?! I explained to this manager how frustrating and upset I was about this whole experience and she doesnt express any sympathy whatsoever. It seems like my complaints arent taken seriously at all. I spent over $1200 on a product from YOUR store & this is how you value my business? Its ridiculous. Im sorry but if Im spending this much money, I would expect beyond exceptional customer service and Ive gotten everything except that. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.
