The piercer here, Jessie, is awful. I had my left nostril pierced about a month ago and needed him to use the jewelry that I bought via a respectable online body jewelry shop. The brand was Industrial Strength, high-quality stainless steel. (Please note that I have 10 piercings besides the left nostril: nipples, dahlias, monroe, right nostril, 2g lobes, and two other lobe piercings on my right ear.) I called to ask if he could autoclave the nose screw that I bought (I should not have bought it pre-bent; that was my mistake) and he said that he could use a "liquid sterilization method," which I had never heard of and could not find in any online research that I did. When the jewelry came in the mail, I went to the shop so that he could check it out to make sure he could autoclave it. I did not agree to using "liquid sterilization." He took the nosescrew into a room in the back while I filled out the paperwork, then returned to say that wed need to wait 15 minutes or so. I was under the impression that he was autoclaving it. He led me and my friend into the back room and I saw him take the jewelry out of a plastic cup containing some sort of clear liquid and set it on a paper towel. While he put on his gloves and unwrapped the equipment, I explained (for at least the third time) that I had bought matching nose screws for the new piercing and the RIGHT NOSTRIL PIERCING THAT IVE HAD FOR A YEAR SO THAT THEY WOULD MATCH. He quickly drew a dot on my nostril with a micron pen (it was not a surgical pen as it should have been). Just before inserting the needle, he glanced at me and said, "Why didnt you tell me that you have the other side of your nose pierced?? That would make a huge difference in the placement!" Seriously? I CALLED ABOUT THIS TWICE, EXPLAINED IT IN THE LOBBY, AND JUST TOLD YOU FOR THE FOURTH TIME. "I just told you that." "Well, when people say they want a nose piercing, they usually mean that they dont have two." "....Thats why I made sure to let you know." He then adjusted the micron dot so that it was even with the right nostril (which, I admit, matched very well) and pierced it. I jumped a little, which is my fault. I should have prepared myself better, knowing that I have anxiety problems. In terms of aftercare, he told me that I should use soap and that I should not sea salt soak (SSS), which goes against anything I have ever done to successfully care for my piercings. I always SSS. Basically, if you match the bodys salinity, the SSS will take any infectious material out of the piercing and into the water. He told me that it increases the rate and amount of scar tissue growth. Bullshit. I do not have scar tissue on any of my piercings except (now) my left nostril. The piercing would normally cost $50, but I only paid $30 because I bought my own jewelry. I bought the EXACT same brand that they sell for $20 PER NOSESCREW for $7.50 online. After getting the piercing, I became very suspicious of the "liquid sterilization method" that he used. I returned to the shop to ask what he had used, and he told me that it was Madacide and that it "kills all organisms known to man in less than four seconds." Here is what I found online regarding the product: PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS: Hazards to Humans and Domestic Animals CAUTION: Harmful if inhaled or absorbed through skin. Causes mucosal eye irritation. Avoid breathing vapors and contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash clothing before reuse. He didnt even rinse the jewelry afterwards. Since then I have had to take the nosescrew out because of the amount of pain and scarring that have occurred. Im hoping that its hypertrophic scarring, since that is more easily treated than a keloid. >:|

I had my nipple pierced and the person doing it was very professional and the place was very clean. Afterwards he even asked if I was okay. With this good experience I went to talk to them about a tattoo. I brought them the design and the same guy told me that he couldnt resize the photo and make it smaller. I asked him for a price and he gave me a very high rate that I couldnt afford at the time. Once I said I couldnt do that, it was only then that he resized it! On top of that, when I asked why it was so expensive, he told me "The green ink costs more" The green ink on the size that he told me he could do still took up about only 1/4"square. I felt like they really just didnt want me in their shop. I went to another shop and the tattoo cost not even CLOSE to as much, and the place was even cleaner, and the guy there looked at me strange when I said I was told it couldnt be resized. He resized it 4 times on separate sheets of paper to make it the exact size I wanted it while Alliance begrudgingly made it about 2 inches smaller and said that that was the best that they could do! The quality of work from the other place was even better than friends tattoos that I have seen from Alliance. If youre looking for a piercing go to Allience, but for tattoos go somewhere else!

I had all three of my tattoos done here at Alliance. My first tat was done by Gus when I was 19 (he is no longer there) and I was really nervous. Although Gus didnt talk much, he was wonderful. My tattoo is even better than I ever expected. When I wanted my next, I went back, wouldnt even think o going anywhere else. I ended up gettin not only my 2nd, butmy 3rd tattoo that night. Kirk took his time, he mde me and my family feel comfortable. They were super clean and took their time to size my tattoos and place it just right. I reccomend them to everyone. They may be a bit higher pricec, but when it comes to something that is going to perminantly be on my body, I dont mind paying more for QUALITY work! And thats wat they are all about!

Joe B. is an incredibly talented artist. Hes been working on my sleeve for a couple of years now and has never let me down. These folks might not be the cheapest shop around, but when getting tattooed Id rather pay for quality than have a place skimp on quality inks and needles and rush me out the door with something Ill have for the rest of my life. The thing I like best (after my artwork of course) is that they respect my time and stick to the schedule. Im giving Alliance Tattoo a 5 out of 5 star rating and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to add a little color to their life.

Great experiences! I have had my last four tattoos done at Alliance. Three by Jesse and one by Joe. Went off of a recommendation of a friend and have been totally happy with all of the work they have done. They were very upfront with their pricing and gave some great advice in the way of placement even though I had the spot I was kind of set on, looked way better once they laid it out for me. Wouldnt go anywhere else in the area. Thanks Jesse and Joe, keep on rocking in the free world!
