I used to frequent this establishment because they had competitive pricing. Now they are having some sort an anniversary sale, which on the surface sounds like a savings, but in volume it is not. While it is a savings per bottle up to a total of 5, 6 or more makes you pay more because the case discount has been removed. Case in point: The per bottle price was discounted $0.16 from the "card" price. If you purchased 6 you received a 5% discount. Because of the anniversary price the 5% discount no longer applies. So on 5 bottles you save $0.80 in total from the previous "card" price. However if you go to a case of 6 or more you pay $2.34 more because of the "anniversary price". To add fuel to this fire they come out with a coupon from time to time providing a discount of some sort on certain items. I received such a coupon which was valued at 10% off your wine purchase. While I did not expect to get the case discount of 5% plus the coupon price, because of the "Anniversary price" the coupon was not valid. Seems to me some sort of bait and switch as this was not the first coupon I received that would not work. The first one did not specify the exclusion of the anniversary price and as a result the cashier said the computer would not accept it because the wine was already discounted. I own a retail store myself and am aware of what you publish is susceptible to interpretation by a consumer. However if I walk through the your store I do not see tags indicating this is the anniversary price and then this becomes misleading to your customers. Sad to say after 5 years I will not be shopping there any more.
