WE WILL NEVER RENT FROM THRIFTY AGAIN. My fiancee and I had a reservation for this past weekend in LA. Things started off well - our flight arrived a little late but Thrifty said no problem, theyd hold the car. Their free shuttle was waiting and took us right over. The line wasnt even that long. When we got to the desk, she was told about the $350 hold theyd put on her card. Fine. After we returned the car, we realized shed had actually been charged $185.14 instead of the $28.68 that was on our voucher. We have been calling their customer service over and over to resolve this and we keep getting transferred and hung up on. If weve lost the money, theyve lost us as customers. There was no explanation for the charges and definitely no option not to pay them. I am so angry.

I will be using this company again. They seem to have lower customer ratings in Florida, where I was coming from, however when I arrived in Hartford everything was great. No BS side pushing or trying to underwrite insurance. My Economy car was a Nissan so I thought that was good. Shuttle transport was at the terminal in 5 minutes. When returning the car the car was a simple 5 minute process. I also had to rent a toddler seat for my daughter. It was good quality and not beat up. So my mind is made up any time I have to fly into Hartford to visit family I will be using Thrifty rental.

This was the worst rental experience ever, second only to Thrifty last weekend in Wyoming. Three rounds of shuttles from other agencies came by before Thrifty did. Im BlueChip but they didnt have car ready, had to scrounge around to find one. Unapologetic, uncaring, unfriendly. If you are in a hurry, dont do Thrifty BDL.

I would NEVER rent from Thrifty Car Rental. I called the number and got someone in the Phillipines. If Thrifty cannot pay an operator in the US to simply handle the phone calls, I do not want to do business with this company. This is absolutely RIDICULOUS !!!!!
