I use to go shopping at Stop & Shop a lot, I like it because of the Natures Promise products and the soup kit. But this particular store, from Stratford, made me to change my mind and Im not shopping there. Here are a few reasons: 1. The person who suppose to pickup the shopping carts is feeding the seagulls .....so they can poop on you and the carts. 2. The entrance is dirty and a lot of employees are hanging out there smoking 3. The produce......some of the chopped vegetables are on the shelves for a long time, the water gets in those containers and the veggies are mushed and smashed- I remember some zucchini- they looked like a zucchini ragu. 4. Deli statio.......this guys have forgotten to change their gloves. They make you a sandwich, wrapped up for you, they fix their apron (if they have one) fix the hat, and serve the next costumer...not changing the gloves. Whats the reason of wearing it? 5. Cheese area it smells, I know the cheese smell .....but this one almost stinks. 6. Bread area its poorly looking and a lot of bread crumbs on the floor, I have to watch my daughter because shell start picking from the floor. 7. Many of the aisle are a mess, nobody is merchandising. 8. Not the most friendly cashiers neither. Bottom line: I wont come back to this particular Stop&Shop, I would most likely go to the one in Fairfield, Stamford, Greenwich, Port Chester -on my way to/from work. This Stratford Stop&Shop need to improve substantial because at this point is under its own standards.

Really need to do a better job of removing expired products from the shelves. Multiple times I have bought long overdue fruit smoothies and not realized it. I try my best to remember to read them before picking them off the shelf, but sometimes Im in a hurry, and quite honestly I shouldnt HAVE to carefully read each one. Sometimes its over a month expired as well, and I only realize it when I go to drink them and they taste like sour fruit. Also, its kind of unfortunate that they rarely get new products in. Like if you ever see commercials on tv of new limited edition flavors of various things, and youd like to try them, you can guarantee this location will never get them in.

Usually I really like Stop and Shop, but this one was the worst Ive been to. First one of their employees almost ran me over with a cart because she wasnt paying attention, second the woman in charge of the self check-out line was really rude and basically helped everyone bag their groceries except for me. Not to mention their selection wasnt what I expect from a Stop and Shop.

I really dont have any Complaints other than the fact that there has been an item that I have gotten in the past and I can no longer get because they just stopped stocking the item, where as I can get them at another Stop and Shop in another town. Luckily, its not a lot of items its just an item in the Chip Aisle. Other than that, the place is fine.

For groceries we would go stop and shop but on saturday nights there very busy. But we would go to target more often. Are family loves to stop and shop deli we get ham,turkey and salami. We love it there just go to The Dock Shopping Center, 200 East Main Street, Stratford, CT 06614 and shop have a nice day

Entrances are dirty and unpleasant. Sidewalk area outside bottle return needs to be power washed, gunk removed. Garbage containers reek. Shopping carts need to be collected more frequently.

I couldnt have said it better Matt. Please Stop and Shop clean up your act. Your store is 4 minutes from my home but I now go out of my way and shop at Big Y.

I find that in the pharmacy your word means nothing. Might as well call you a liar. The one in charge is very standoffsh. Also no customer service skills.

Dee in Customer Service is by far the worst, she thinks she run the store. Everyone has to wait for her, I truely hate coming here but I have no choice.
