STAFF- Jon is like my favorite person there. He is the manager and the best person to deal with. Hes off on Wednesdays and Theres another guy there on Wednesdays who always look sad like as if his dog died. But back to Jon he always looks happy and in good spirits so I love his energy for that! A positive attitude is contagious. Trust me, If you look up quality customer service Im positive a photo of him would be right there! He should be crowned the Pawn Shop King of CT or Customer Service Expert! The EXPERIENCE- okay so I was in a jam and I was like $50 short to make my car payment and I already had something of high value pawned, so I had to ask for a favor and I really needed them to come through for me. However I am not entitled and I didnt expect them to even help me, but they took mercy on me and helped me out and words cant even express how much that meant to me. THE MERCH- they have great quality things here from high end slightly used NIKE sneakers, to flat screen TVs in great condition, power tools that look brand new, firearms, computers, gaming systems jewelry and more. They allow you to put something on layaway and make payments on it which is awesome. I like their jewelry I always buy DVDs and I have a pair of rollerblades that Ive purchased from here that I LOVE. The prices are even MORE amazing and affordable with a 100% satisfaction guarantee! The competition- so if your seeking a pawn shop like anything else they have competitors however you wont be happy with what they offer you elsewhere HCP has the best deals and best service around! Was first introduced to HCP back in 2014 and I frequent the store because i always leave a happy customer! Thanks guys!

As a musician, guitarist (or other instrumentalist), or collector (autographed items, collectible albums, etc.), one can get very selective about where to buy things but especially so when it comes to pawn shops. Hat city pawn is definitely the best pawn shop in the Fairfield county area. The owner, manager and employees are always polite and informative. I have done business with them for multiple years from everything from gold, power tools and fishing equipment. They have always offered me the best price on gold (trust me I checked prior to selling) and everything else Ive pawned or sold. On top of all of that since I am a working man I always arrive 5-10 mins before closing and they always stay and help me out with me pawn or sale. Regardless of how many questions I have. Additionally they have been understanding and worked with me on some of my pawn that were late and didnt just pull and sell them like other places have. Im not guaranteeing or saying that they will do that for everyone/anyone it was just a real nice gesture that they definitely didnt have to do lawfully.

I am NOT a regular at the pawn shops, but actually felt very comfortable with this group and they did an excellent job explaining why they came to the conclusion they did on the offer they made. Plus, it was very clean. I did not end up selling my item but they still continued to be polite and very respectful anyway. I most likely will go back and purchase some electronics from them, they did have some nice stuff and I think I feel comfortable purchasing items from them by the professionalism they demonstrated. I would recommend going here.

The guys are honest, the products are clean and usable, and the deals are crazy. The owners are in Law Enforcement and DONT work with shady access. You can trust them and that you arent supporting stolen property. Ive purchased a bicycle, sound equipment, and tools, all at rock bottom pricing. Highly recommended. :)
