I have been a faithful customer of Highland Park Market in Glastonbury for over 10 years. We just moved east of the river and assumed that Highland Park in Farmington would be our new hometown grocer. Boy, was I wrong. This is the last place I will shop. Far too expensive with little customer service. There is no selection to speak of and it is not very clean. Im so sad that I wont be going back but Glastonbury Highland has spoiled us. Friendly, approachable staff who are eager in a ckean well lit environment help make all the difference in the world.

Its sort of like your old country corner store. Quaint and clean inside with great friendly, outgoing service. At checkout, the baggers always offer to bring your groceries to your car for you. While it has a great family-feel, the products tend to be a bit on the expensive side. So, if youre on a budget, this would not be the place to shop, however, if the idea of a smaller, more personalized experience is what you like, then this is the place to be.

I went here for lunch based a a recommendation from a coworker and was very pleased! I had the Italian combo sandwich from the deli and it was amazing. I wish more deli restaurants would produce a sandwich like this. Fresh sliced meat, and lots of it, fresh sliced cheese and a fresh roll. This place makes a great sandwich at a great price. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend stopping in for a quick bite.

Every time I go to Farmington I always love to shop here, it is right in the neighborhood and never crowded or too busy. They also have a great sushi stand. However with this convenience and quality comes a price, I think it has to be the most expensive market I have even been too. So many items are marked up way higher then they should be. So bottom line, great quality at a high price.

Food Sales are good. Bakery, deli, meat counter.... always nice service. If you need a special cake, great bakers, cake designers. Would not recommend doing full shopping here. Could be on the expensive side. Only disappointment recently? Some of the prepackaged produce items were very close to sell by dates and a couple were past sell by dates.

Im so sick of Stop & Shop and theyre expired Foods and horrible shopping carts. I found this place it has exceptional Fresh Foods and the customer service is phenomenal. They even walk you to your car with your groceries. This will be my favorite Market going forward.

Friendly family oriented market with good quality meat, fish and bakery depts. Great store made soups. Love their prepackaged sushi. They will even load your bags into your car!
