I have been a very good customer to this store, spending a sizable amount of money and driving all the way out from Longmont for every purchase. The owner Connie is wonderful and very knowledgeable,...the daughter not so much. The daughter sold me some Pure White paint never once mentioning that there is no pigment in the paint and will take many, many coats to cover and it still may not completely do the job. At $40 a quart, this would be an outrageously expensive project. After I found this out from another sales associate at the store, I spoke with Connie and she told me I could exchange the can for another color. This was a can that I NEVER opened. When I returned the can for another color, after I left the store the daughter came running out side and accused me of returning a used can of paint . Again, I NEVER had opened the can. So whether the daughter opened the can and poured some out and then accused me or whether the inventory that they purchased from a closing business was compromised, I am disgusted by this. What a shame that this snarky, entitled employee has ruined what had been a great customer/establishment relationship. Misinformation, non-truthful salesmanship and outlandish accusations are a sad misfortune for this small, local retail shop. Buyer beware if the daughter is the employee in charge of helping you. I will not return and will certainly share this disgusting experience.

I had purchased chalk paint at this store when I first moved the Parker but hadnt kept up with my hobby of painting furniture. I have been in a lot more lately purchasing paint and supplies for projects and every time I go in all the employees are so helpful. Ali, the owners daughter is so sweet and knowledgable and takes the time to ask about your project and help with product recommendations. Every time I shop in this store everyone makes me feel like my business is appreciated. If you live nearby or are even visiting, you should check this cute store out. They have fun decor, accessories and you truly make friendships with the family who owns it.

I love this store! Ive been coming here for 3 years and have referred friends to it. Connie is amazing! Her depth and knowledge on her product and how to use it are invaluable. She always has what Im looking for in stock and is happy to answer any of my questions and give me helpful advice. When I first started to chalk paint, she made me feel comfortable diving into a project and told me not to hesitate to call if I ran into a problem or needed some guidance. I love my visits to the store to get new ideas, see all their wonderful vintage treasures or have a friendly visit. Thumbs up on a great home grown business!

Buyer beware are the words for this business!!! Do not be deluded by their claim that you can paint upholstery with chalk paint and then use it afterward. The paint will bleed onto damp clothing from the upholstery. I took SimplerTimes to small claims court and they were charged with negligent representation of a product by having both a painted couch and chair in their store and insisting that it was safe to do this. 31 different kinds of upholstery were ultimately test-painted and none of the samples became colorfast.

I love this store and these ladies are amazing i have painted everything from a simple stand to furniture and never once had an issue or a problem love every single piece i have done ...i will not buy my chalk paint anywhere else but here the owner has even met me after hours when i have been in the middle of a project and ran out of paint .....best place in the world ...

Havent even bought yet, but this store is amazing. I had no idea one little can of paint could do so much! I watched the owner teach another woman how to paint a side table, some old gaudy piece of furniture, and make it a staple piece for any home. Im eager to go back in and buy some materials for my dining room table!!!

I am very disappointed with my experience. I purchased $80 worth of painting products and when I didnt use any of it, I was shocked to find out this small business wont do a single return. Bad customer service is what closes down a small business. Very disappointing.

I absolutely love this store for all of my DIY projects. As well as the super helpful and very informative owner that always graciously greets her guests and make sure that you leave knowing what you are doing. I wish more shop offered this level of shopping
