I have been patronizing this business for over a year. The service and selection have been fine until recently. On occassion, the manager will be at the second register and refuses to take the slack in the line that forms, instead making small talk with the clerk who is clearly busy checking customers. Lazy perhaps, but not a serious concern. What is a serious concern is the refusual of the clerk to honor the price listed on the shelf. When the posted price does not match that charged at the register, I expect an apology at least, and any reputable business will honor the advertised price. NOT at 9th Ave. I think the clerk is new but hes an adult with a job in customer service. He didnt even bother checking the posted price at the cooler and told me that "We cant sell if for cheaper than we buy it!" but the customer is expected to pay MORE than the listed price. "Maybe they didnt change the price on the shelf yet", he suggests. With the little stickies used as price labels, it couldnt take any more time than changing the price in the POS system. In any case, this is lazy service/managment. I dont give them the benefit of the doubt as I checked a previous receipt and they have been gouging me on the price since the New Year. I shouldnt have to ask to speak to management or write a letter to get a business to honor advertised prices. If you have a choice, I suggest you support another establishment that does not have dubious business practices and has some semblance of customer service. I have.

These folks dont seem friendly to me at all when I come in. Ive been a customer for a long time and thought they would warm up to me or at least recognize me over time, but no. For example, today, since I thought they might recognize me as a frequent customer and the banks are closed I tried to exchange all quarters today for a $10 bill or two $5 bills, just because I didnt need all the change and I honestly thought they might be able to use it. They wouldnt look at me when I asked them and they just scoffed at me and said "NO". Just cold and gruff. I went next door to the dollar store, where I also am a usual, and they enthusiastically said "Hi" when I came in and "no problem" when I asked the same. I guess Ill go another store from now on for my beverages. I tried to like this place since its so close to my house, but I really appreciate friendly people at my local liquor store. Yes I didnt shop here today, but I have so many times in the past that I thought they would be friendlier.

I went in today should of kept month shut but i complained about price that i pay 5 to 10 dollars more there. The old man took my stuff and told me to go some where else I said really and just walked out nicely they lost about 30 to $40 sale from me

Store closes before hours posted on the door....15 mins or more. Walked there and was sadly unable to give him my money. Your loss
