STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. If you are a bride who values and appreciates customer service then I highly dont recommend this place. DONT IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS and the 1 or 2 stars they are one of the only bridal shops who have such bad rating. I was looking for a very specific dress, and looked a ton before I went into this shop, and when I was there I found a dress that was similar to the dress of my dreams. During my first visit I really didnt like the service, and how they tried to sell you every dress you tried on by showering you with compliments, but I figured maybe the consultant was too excited. I came in another time to show the dress to my family, and I was helped by another consultant who wasnt pushy and kind of let me hear my own thoughts wish I liked. She had informed me that I could make changes to the dress, so I immediately showed her my dream dress and she said shell contact the designer and see if we could change the dress and get back to me in a few days. After not hearing from her for 7 business days I e-mailed asking for an update and I still didnt hear back. I called to talk to her and every time she wasnt there and the shop had informed me I need to order soon to not get charged a rush fee. I went in again on a Sunday because the shop was telling me if I didnt order it soon they would charge me a rush fee in order to get the dress on time. So I went again and said I like the dress but I need to hear back from the designer and your consultant, they had assured me I will soon and that if I do a deposit that day I wouldnt be charged a rush fee. So before signing a $3000+ deposit she had explained once a dress order was placed its not refundable to protect themselves from brides changing their minds after the dress is being made for them. Makes perfect sense right since its a customer order? I slept on the idea and first thing Monday at 8 or 9 AM I called Cate the owner and explained I was hesitant about the dress, that I didnt want to settle on something and wanted to think about it since there will be changes made to it. She was kind and said she would wait till Wednesday to put the order in so I can think about it and asked that I come in again and try it on. By noon I had finally heard back from the consultant and was informed the designer agreed to my changes, but still need to find out how much it would be. I went in the next day to try the dress and Cate was whispering to a new consultant I was working with as if walking her through the situation on how to sell me the dress. Which she did. She was so pushy and kept telling me you liked it yesterday, youre simply having cold feet, bla bla... until I couldnt hear my own thoughts. I left as quickly as I could because I was so frustrated with the service and didnt want to purchase the dress anymore. I called Cate to inform her I didnt want the dress and she said okay but im not refunding your money. Be aware the dress was never ordered or anything at all. She just wants to keep the $3000+. Its been a couple of months now and she still refuses to return my money. Im getting married in a week and she still doesnt want to refund my money. I called her last week and I guess shes been dodging my calls and ignoring me. I called her today and she said that the $3000+ was the cost of all my visits and the time for the consultation at this point. Talk about horrible customer service. I dont know how Cate can sleep at night knowing she took $3000+ in exchange for nothing, but I hope other brides will learn from my horrible experience and take their business somewhere else. This is not an okay way to treat people or make money. To me its stealing your money.

I am so sorry to have to give a bad review to the place where I bought my wedding dress. As something that is so special to a bride, I really wish it was the opposite. The first day I went I immediately found the perfect gown for me. This gown is NOT a cheap gown AT ALL, and it was custom made for me in London, so the whole process with LWD has been about 9 months long. Throughout this whole process I was assigned 4 different managers without even telling me, so it was really hard to communicate what I wanted to get done. I paid extra $500 initially for my measures to be very carefully taken from the beginning in order to make the dress from scratch straight up in my size. However, when it came after 4 months it was a lot bigger. This led to another $600 in extra tailoring. They barely ever had open spots for tailoring appointments (which is why the process took so long, another 5 months after the dress had arrived) giving me one appointment a month and forcing me to leave work and adapt myself to their schedules. But what can you do, theyve got your dress, right? Later, and after all the extra tailoring charges and being assured that this fee would include everything I wanted to change, I asked if I could change something in the straps and they wanted to charge me extra $900, including a rush-service fee because the wedding is coming up and it had to be done fast. I obviously didnt go forward with this kind of rip off. As a result I have a dress that I like a lot, but I do not love because it does not fit me perfect. The seamstress and the girls there are all extremely sweet and nice. I think the problem has come from a higher management standpoint, a lack of good customer service, and obviously the unwillingness to fix things after my complaints. They knew from the beginning that my wedding is in Europe and I had to travel with the dress. When I picked it up (do not be late to that or they will also charge you for it) all they gave me is a $50 cent paper garment bag that is twice as big as the dress and would literally protect zero the dress if anything was spilled to it during the flight. Dont worry I will too purchase my own. As a final cherry, I will say that do not expect to go with your bridesmaids and have any fun... after spending so much money we did not even get a glass of champagne. Sorry to say that this was a bittersweet experience to something that should have been memorable.

We had a wonderful experience at LWD. We stopped in without an appointment, not because it was on a whim but because we didnt know what time we would arrive since we were in town just for the day. Once we explained that it was our first time looking at dresses and would like to work with an associate if possible they were more than happy to accommodate us. We were paired with Megan, and she was wonderful. She showed us how the store was divided by price and helped us find the section of dresses that fit within our comfort zone. The three of us then began pulling dresses based on what I said I was interested in - something figure-flattering with a vintage flair. We pulled dresses with lace, dresses with illusion necklines, dresses with deep vs, dresses with beading, etc. As I began trying them on I was dismayed to discover that even though I LOVED that style in photos I didnt love it on me. The dresses overwhelmed my petite frame. Megan had initially suggested pulling a white gown that had nothing on it and I scoffed. "Too plain!", I said. Well, she snuck one in the dressing room and by that point I was so bewildered about what I liked that I said "Fine, Ill try it.". I walked out of the dressing room and my fiancès jaw dropped. When I looked in the mirror I could see why. It was stunning. Im still floored by how a simple, unadorned white gown could look so regal but it did. And I was hooked. We then switched our focus to trying on only simple white gowns and within the next half hour we found a dress that we loved and the next thing I knew I was saying "Yes, this is my dress." To say I was floored would be an understatement. I wasnt expecting to find a dress, let alone buy a dress, and I give Megan all of the credit. She indulged EVERY whim and request I had about looking at certain dress styles and choices and never pushed me in one direction or another but only asked what I did or didnt like. After we decided on the dress, we spent another half hour or so trying on different veils and talking about what our options were. By the end of it I was feeling overwhelmed so I put purchasing the veil and shoes on hold for now (btw, Emmy shoes are SO comfortable!) but hope to be back the next time we visit Colorado!
