Cy Fixen

This place does have one of the best beer selections Ive seen in Denver. Ive been in the store a handful of times. Today, I was in to stock up and was wandering around for about 15 minutes. All the time I was in, there were 4 or 5 employees in the store and I was the ONLY customer. No one said even one word to me. I have experienced this a number of times, never good or even mediocre customer service. I felt more like I was in the way and a nuisance (even though Ive spent hundreds of dollars in their store on specialty beers). I have no plans of returning. They have a good assortment of drinks however on two occasions iv had people say rude racist things to me one of the staff there and the other was a security guard or police officer. They should not be in the service business if they dont want to serve blacks in all honesty. I think we are headed back towards having official racism like they did in the past but until then I expect common courtesy from people I pay my hard earned money to. It took a while for me to get the message, I will be looking elsewhere to buy a drink.

Great store and selection but owners are cold and rude Ive been in the store on several occasions. I will walk through the door and not once does anyone ask me if I need help. Five people walk in behind me and are asked immediately. The owner is cold and will act like your id is fake if you have good genes and look young. There is another more Chinese liquor not too far away that Ill risk going to any days regardless that its not in a safe place because atleast I feel welcomed there.

One of my favorite liquor stores in all of Denver. I stop by this place frequently for the awesome selection, and amazing prices. In addition the staff all know their stuff and are always eager to point a person in the right direction. Stop by here on a whim whenever youre in the area!

They have a great selection, dont get me wrong, but i go in there dropping $80-100 every time and they treat me like worthless street garbage EVERY time. Its pretty lousy. The owner is just as big of a jerk as the peons that work for him.

The guys in here are happy to help you find what youre looking for. This is a great beer shop, they have what you want. Their bourbon selection has great Kentucky juice, and fantastic local finds as well.

They have three or four craft beer six packs and cases on special all the time (usually $6 sixer/$20 case or less). Amazing bomber & 750ml beer selection in the back cooler.
