Please dont give these jerks your business! We were in Breckenridge twice this month. This liquor store is the closest one to where we stay. The first time we came here, we walked in and you can seriously cut the tension in this place with a knife! They are SO unwelcoming and clearly do NOT want you there. I understand they probably deal with a lot of idiot tourists but at the same time youd think tourists were their bread and butter?! However, my husband and I are CO natives and dont live very far from Breck. We were there two hours before closing and some younger guy was literally following us with a vacuum. Once he turned the vacuum off I asked him where the Fireball was. His response, "ummmm, you just walked by it like 5 times, and pointed to where it was" I gave my husband my, "Im about to lose it" look and be begged me to be quiet. So I did. We went to check out and the only words uttered to us was the total. No, "thanks for coming", "have a good night"...ugh. We were back in Breck a few weeks later and like I mentioned, this is the closest liquor store to us so we gave it another shot. This time a salt and pepper haired older man was behind the counter. If I recall correctly, I believe he had a short mustache and beard. When we walked in I told him "hi", he looked right at me and completely ignored me. We were about to purchase over $160 in liquor as we were having friends come up from out of town. I was like, no, Im not giving the assholes another penny and walked out!!! Drove down the street to the other liquor store and spent our money there. I seriously still cant believe Im writing a review about a LIQUOR STORE! It was THAT bad. Give your business to the other stores, this place doesnt deserve it!!!

What a horrible liquor store experience! The older female (owner?) launched into me about "you people show up here and expect an environmentally friendly town and then complain about the 10 cent charge for a bag." I told her I was fine with the charge, but I didnt know about it. She obviously has forgotten that visitors are the ones providing HER with a livelihood. I have never had a negative experience in a liquor store, but will not visit this one again. And, I will make sure my multiple friends who come to Breck do not use this rude liquor store, either. I am sure the Breck Chamber of Commerce would be appalled to hear how this owner treats visitors. All I can say is, "Wow" and I wish there was a zero star rating; one star is too high.

I would like to sincerely apologize to Ann who shopped at our store and had a poor experience because of me. I took a possible teaching moment about our towns laws and turned it into a detriment. There are no excuses for that and I will not make one. Only to say that by letting my behavior be known, you have shed light on how I was perceived and to do my best to not make anyone feel this way in our store again. Ann, I hope you will accept that I am sorry and take this seriously. I will try to take the experience, own it, and turn it into a positive.

Terrible staff! We Use to come here once a month for the last three years because it was the closest liquor store to our condo however the staff is rude. I will never support this business again. I got a new credit card that has the numbers laser engraved on the back (instead of on the front) and has a chip... the clerk said my card was fake and threw it at me. He didnt even attempt to run the card. Then he told me to get out of his store. Guess they dont want to make sales treating customers like that.

I am a local and I have lived here a while, and every time I go in here I astonished on how rude the breck bros are at the counter. I try not to shop here and give them my business but it being a small town sometimes I am willing to take the abuse when walking into this store. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE. IF YOU WANT A RUDE EXPERIENCE FROM SOME LOSER GETTING PAID 10.00 AN HOUR, BY ALL MEANS SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE BUT THERE IS ANOTHER PLACE ON MAIN STREET YOU CAN PURCHASE BOOZ AT.

Extremely rude staff. Purchased beer a few times here without issue. Cashier wouldnt accept and attempted to confiscate my legitimate NJ drivers license (Im 25) and told me to "get out of his store". He refused to consult other staff or an id book and repeatedly told me to get out and go to another liquor store.

Dont forget ID. As a former regular customer that has spent hundreds of dollars I wasnt expecting to get raked over the coals by staff for forgetting it. Since it is a long hike to get here I wont be coming back. Im sure they get enough money from other people. Guess they wont miss me!

Good selection of liquor for a mountain town. A bit pricey, which is why only 4 stars but probably comparable with the competition. Staff was nice enough.
