I just had the same experience as Michelle Hitchcock. I have been buying all my wine and liquor at Ralston Liquors for the past year. I had a beer after working all day on my basement remodel at the house. I went down to Ralston Liquors to buy some wine. When I got to the counter the clerk looked at me as said "have you had anything to drink today?" I looked at her curiously and she said "I can smell it on your breath so I cant sell you anything". I was a bit taken aback and embarrassed. I just said OK and walked out the door. I went down the road to Apple Jacks and bought what I wanted. In addition, I can relate to comments made by other reviewers about their clerks being rude. They sometimes clown around a lot and pay little or no attention to customers. I guess I tolerated it because they are about a mile closer to me than Apple Jacks. Not anymore! I will never set foot inside Ralston Liquors again.

I have been a patron of Ralston Liquors for about 12 years. Recently I had a strange experience, I visited after having dinner with my husband. I was buying a bottle of wine, and when I got to the counter the clerk asked me if I had a drink at all that day, I said well I just left dinner with my husband and had a glass of wine. I was told they could not sell to me, thats it is a new law. I have been in law for 33 years never heard of it asked numerous attorneys about it, no one has seemed to have heard of it. I guess thats what I get for being honest. So, I went out to the car and my husband who had a drink at dinner went in and just said no, when they asked him so they sold him the bottle of wine. I am now giving my business to Rossis and Applejacks.

Best prices in Denver, Boulder, Arvada that I have been able to find! They are always friendly and helpful, willing to load the car, give an opinion, crack a joke! This liquor store has been my choice for over 10 years! They check you out fast and are very attentive if you cant find what you wanted. Very good selection of beer, wine and liquor. I highly recommend them and tell my friends and neighbors (who agree) that this is the best liquor store around. One note, they are strict about keeping their Liquor License and if you have been drinking they might not sell to you. It is worth the drive to Ralston Square Liquors to shop here.

It has been a bad experience for me overall. Not friendly and just flat out rude at times. One employee is very nice and helpful but dont have his name handy. Other than that dude I dont like this place and highly recommend taking your business across the street.

Terrible service, terrible selection, and they treat everyone from their employees to their customers to their business peers horribly. No reason to shop here when there are so many other better places around.

Total waste of space. Poor selection, broken bottles on the floor, piss poor management. The owner and manager need to go work at McDonalds so they can get an idea of how a buisness works..

Prices cant be beat! No matter how many people are there you can always get in and out quickly. 10lb bag of ice is .69$
