The size alone of this Salvation Army makes it worth the trip. It is one of the largest thrift stores in LA by far with fairly decent selection on everything (furniture, electronics, household goods, clothing, videos, books, records, shoes...). The largest part of the store is the clothing and shoes section. It is divided, roughly, 70% womens, 20% mens, 10% childrens. Every time I go there is a different sale or special running, so you often can get an even better bargain on some great deals. Most of the staff I have encountered are bilingual (English/Spanish) and friendly if you treat them well. The following comments are the only things that I consider a drawback about this operation. Every time I check out, regardless of if I am first in line or fiftieth, it always takes a very long time. I have waited in line for half and hour when there was only one person ahead of me and they only have about fifteen items. I dont expect lickity-split service from a thrift store, so this isnt as much of a critique as it is a buyer-beware. Give yourself plenty of time to check out if you have somewhere you need to be! The clothing is well marked and organized, but sometimes the racks are so full of items you cannot browse through them without pulling out individual items and then putting them back. The trade-off is you have a lot to chose from, but it slows down the shopping process.

This place is okay large with the most Salvation Armys Ive been to. Im pretty sure theres much bigger ones but I dont go to them that often. I used to live close by here and still travel the area quite frequently. So I have been here several times its pretty good there is some complaints about the donation part A lot of times it seems like they dont really want your donations I guess it all depends on the guy. But its not always Pleasant donating things and other times its just fine. Another complaint is on Google it says it closes at a certain time it actually closes earlier so the hours on Google are wrong and should be updated.

I frequently go to this particular store to donate miscellaneous household goods, etc. Most of the time theyre staffed by friendly personnel. Theres usually one or two attendants who have often come to my car with bags ready to take the materials from me. One must remember that above all else, this is a CHARITY outfit which does not make a profit from these materials and contributes to the betterment of others. Impeccable curbside service is usually found outside 5 star restaurants, not local charity thrift shops. Throwing out goods in the heat of a temper tantrum is just wasteful.

Watch your back at this place. I was helping a worker load a bookcase into my car and behind my back someone, I think another worker went into my car (the door was open) and stole my sunglasses. THis place hires fellons and theives. Good selection but some of the workers maybe just one is stabbing God in the back. I hate when religious institutions build companys and hire people that are immoral and theives. I will never donate or trust this place again.

This is one of my favorite thrift stores in the area. Its a good size and tends to have a lot of inventory (especially clothes and household items). Ive never had trouble making a donation at this store, and any charity store Ive ever been to will happily send someone outside to help you if no one is there. As the second reviewer stated, this is a CHARITY. Its about giving and helping people.

I almost dont want to tell you about this place. Seriously, I get a lot of my stuff here. And if you start showing up, youre going to end up with my stuff. But its great stuff, particularly the excellent prices on most items, and the frequent ridiculous, rockbottom sales. The staff is friendly and funny. So much so, I overcame my aversion to Salvation Armys politics. Forgive me.

Im trying to help out the community, but I dont get no help from the staff when I get there. I see only gentleman working with a orange reflector vest, but there is a lease 5 to 6 staff members walking around talking and sitting around. I have been to this place 3x and each time I come no warm welcome and the staff act like why are you bothering me.

This place is HUGE. Ive only shopped for furniture there, so I cant really speak for the sizable clothing section, but it has by far the largest furniture section of any Good Will or Salvation Army Ive been to. Found an amazing couch there for $85. I definitely recommend it.

Its clean and not cluttered like some thrift stores they have good deals but i think some items are over priced but they do have good sales like 2$ clothing day or 50% off weekend they have a flyer that tells you all the sales for that month

This morning was my last time going there. Website says 8am open and its actually 9am which they never bother correcting. Their continual prices are way over priced with many items higher than purchasing new.

Nice sized store BUT THEY ARE NOT OPEN TILL 9PM. That is wrong. Very frustrating to drive half an hour specifically to go here only to find out they were closing. Their hours are 9am-8pm Mom-Sat.

The clothes here are superb & I ended up spending all my money here when I didnt mean too. The guys that work here are cute. The women arent that personable, cold is more like it.

The clothing section is ok, most of it is out dated but if you look really hard you will find some good pieces. Give yourself a lot of time when you decide to come here.

Very large. Look for special of the day. Friendly staff. Very fair pricing on most items. Reuse and recycle is the only way to go these days to help save the planet.

As far as thrift stores go, this is the best. Remember to come when they have specials. They have a calendar near the register. Their clothing deals are amazing

Huge store, but small selection of furniture and other items. Primarily clothing. Id recommend other thrift stores, especially if you are looking for quality.

Very rude people they have handling donations. Will not be making anymore stops at this store with donations. Will take to Goodwill instead.

Big store. It was really busy when I came by. I was perusing their furniture selection, which seemed fairly overpriced to me
