I take no pleasure in writing "negative reviews" but when I do, I try to convey what the problem(s) are to educate others. Ill start by saying that Bestbuy has been a good store to compare anything electronics. They carry named brand products and offer warranties to go along with that product. The only problem with that is; "what they say and do are two different things!" Case in point: Ive purchased products with a "replace the product guarantee" warranty but when you try to get the replacement, all you get is an argument for having it repaired out with no replacement. On two occasions, Ive had to speak with the store manager before my product was replaced! In a "recent" purchase to a computer I made, they didnt carry the product "in stock" but I felt compelled to make the purchase because it was the last day of the sale. I was told that there would be a back order and it would take about a week. After paying for the product "I was told that if [another] store carried the "same product," I could take my receipt there and pick the product up!" "Simple?" So I thought. The very next day I was at another Bestbuy and saw my "exact" product and decided to pick up my purchase at this store. I explained my situation to the clerk and showed my receipt as "proof of purchase" from the day before and asked if I could get my computer at this store. Well, the look I got, "you thought I just committed a crime!" "Well, well, we cant do that because you didnt purchase that here," to "we have to cancel the sale and hold the money for 5-10 days on the purchase!?" "What are you talking about I made the purchase by credit card!?" We went around for about 20 minutes on why she couldnt do it before she said she would have ask her boss for approval? After waiting 10-20 minutes the clerk came back and "basically re-explaining to me what a hassle it would be for them to cancel the transaction, recharge the purchase, get authorization, override the sale purchase, and on and on......!!!" I finally told the clerk to forget it and I would wait for my product to arrive, then to be treated like I did something wrong! Just like banks, "they love to take your money but when it comes to getting the product, more times than not, all you get is alot of excuses!" Will I still go to these stores? Sure, to "compare" products and then make purchases on Amazon or other retail stores that carry the same product!

Went there to buy a lap top l i Liked the Mac air asked them if they could do price match store manager claimed the one I was buying on line from Amazon brand new didnt have any warrenty which was a lie He agreed for $50 more I didnt want to wait for on line one I was going over sea didnt realize sold me the 128 gb which wasn`t the one I was asking for I could have got that for way lower price any way total rip off , when I try to bringing it to his attention one of Geek guy Matt whom was busy eating Pizza and drinking 2 x litter cola being smart .a.telling me how come I didnt see it when I bought it wow Matt very proffessinal ..... any way Never will shop n best buy and make sure get the word out about there service regret buying my fridge and t.v there.

The sales associate confused my order and I didnt get a good service to change that mistake !!! over the phone no answers !!! Shame because I used to be buying in Best buy and after that I never going to do it again. I was very specific in my appliances and they confuse with all this SKU and the appliances. The guy in the store just laughing instead to help me. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY IN THIS STORE !!!!!!!

Called for "customer service," serveral times. After being told by the same woman that she was busy, she followed up with: she would call me back, taking no number or name down, I was asked to call back at a different time, or was told she was busy and then just plain hung up on. Sadly, this is the customer service in which Best Buy has a reputation for. Companies this big dont need our money, I guess...

Just like any other best buy, its roomy. But the phone section is very BORING! most of the Best buys I go to have working demo phones for people to use. It is a disservice to customers who want to buy an item yet can not physically see it. Comparing both stores Id say the Best Buy in Modesto is worth the drive if you want to play with some demo phones.

Much more competent and attentive staff than most Best Buys Ive been to. The last time I was in there, an item was listed as in stock, but not on the shelves and no fewer than 5 associates were scurrying around trying to help find it. The downside is that this location is much smaller than many other locations and unfortunately has a smaller selection.

I just wanted to say you cant go wrong with all the purchases you make with BEST BUY. Not only you get friendly sales person at Tracy Best Buy that help you with all your questions, but best of all you can count on worry free purchases with their price match and hassle free returns on defective items.

As long as youre always polite courteous and willing to help you are good customer service person. The Only issue I had was the knowledge of the person. He didnt know what the contents of the item was and i would have bought the wrong item. Fortunately he opened the box before I bought anything.

Hated the experience, not once not twice but 6 times had been there and the people are lazy clue less and wont respond to any request asked . They just ask and then call others then others ....so disorganized and also its not tidy or clean

I went into stockton best buy and their 2 installers had quit but the guy in head of the car audio section helped me picked the right items for my car then drove to tracy to have them installed it and it was quick and came out great c:

One of the Better Best Buys I have been to, staffs are really friendly, good selection of electronics, sale prices are promptly mentioned. Return and replacement is not all a problem.

Theyve sold out much of their store to Samsung. If youre looking for a phone or tablet, shop elsewhere. They dont offer any of the best competitive products any more.
