I made a U turn, parked and went into the store to remark on the guy who twirls your advertising sign at passing motorists. He invests more enthusiasm and energy in his job than way, way more than most people do, and he looks like he enjoys doing it. I am so impressed. I travel 190 every Wednesday, and he is always ON THE JOB. A nice fellow at the counter accepted my compliment and said he would pass it on. I believe him, but I want to be 100% sure the sign guy is acknowledged for his work. Ive seen some sign guys do everything but lay down on the damned sign and take a nap.

Great place to buy new and especially used sports equipment. If you want high end gear this is not the place, but if you want bargain new or used gear or if you are just starting out a sport I highly suggest Play It Again Sports. Its also great place to buy gear for kids that outgrow stuff fast. This particular store is owned by retired NHL player Larry Robinson so they tend to have a great selection of used hockey equipment. This is also a great place to SELL your used gear. Take your stuff in and get a quote on what it might be worth.

I went to this store to look at snowboard boots. The first time I walked in they were very busy and a new employee helped me. He was honest and said he didnt know much about the boots, so I tried them on and decided to come back another time. I went back the next day and the manager helped me with a great pair of Burton Supremes. They are wonderful!! I got a killer deal and got to chat with a very nice gentleman about how the store keeps it prices low. I plan on taking my boyfriend there soon to get him setup for the slopes!

WOW. What a joke! I went in there to get a hockey blade, they had very low selection. I paid over $30 for my purchase and then the incompetent clerk took my $150 dollar stick, cranked it in a vice, cut my stick crooked, and took over an hour.... Finally, I demanded I go back there and do it myself....I had to recut my stick, replace the old blade, insert the new one Place was a joke, both clerk and manager alike Never going here again!

Great place to get cheap slightly used sports gear. They have all different sizes for adults and children. They hire high school kids to work behind the counter so service is a grab bag of teenage hormones. About half the store is hockey gear. I get that the Kings are hot right now but hockey isnt really a Southern California sport. I dont even know where you would go to practice around here.

I found nice staff in teh store. All is well arranged into categories and ages. The store is not so big, so you cannot get lost in the store. They have inline, ice and street. The pricing are a bit above what I expected, but, for sure still a good deal. I could not find the blade I needed. Maybe next time.

This is my favorite shop for all my hockey needs, everything from skate sharpening to pads and sticks. Great group of guys and always available to help when I dont know what Im talking about. I highly recommend them for your sporting equipment...

I called them last minute for a pair of size 12 rollerblades and they had 4 pairs! When we got there we found the perfect pair and had a blast at the beach. THANK GOD FOR play it again sports!
