I have had numerous classified ads out for seamstresses for as long as I remember and have used many where I would typically size and mark the garments myself and then hand the seamstress a handful of items. Ive had fairly good results over the years. However, my last seamstress was charging too much for what she did and I therefore, procured another---however, since she was a flake and highly unreliable, I procured another who unfortunately, was geographically distant (Highland Park). I have driven and cycled right by 2000 Dreams thousands of times and one day I decided to stop by. I will never look back. I told Nancy (proprietor) that I already marked the garments, but she insisted I try them on. I got in & out of the dressing room and did fittings for 7 shirts (for about 45 minutes). Cindy, the fitter, was wonderful and treated me like I was a king doing a fitting for my royal gowns. I requested that one shirt be ready in three days, the rest to be ready in a week. Nancy called in two days to tell me it was ready and that it would be beneficial to try it on before doing the rest of the lot. It was perfect with excellent work-personship. I later picked up the rest of the lot and all items demonstrated excellent workmanship and quality control. MORAL OF THE STORY: I will never go anywhere else due to a number of reasons: 1) 2000 Dreams is very nearby! 2) at 2000 Dreams, Im treated like a king! 3) 2000 Dreams quality of work-personship is excellent, 4) 2000 Dreams turnaround time is great, --- and last but NOT LEAST, 4) 2000 Dreams price is reasonable for the work that they do.... Oh, and one more thing, the ladies at 2000 Dreams are all cutie pies :-) UPDATE: 7/2016- Quality of workmanship still A-1! The workmanship is equivalent or better to the quality i get from my European tailor...

Im a little scared of this place. With that said and let me explain - this was our first spot to check out Bridesmaids (BM) dresses and scout for ideas, colors, overall just browsing. As soon you walk in, one of the two/three ladies working there will greet you and all. You need to put down any drinks (of course) and if you have a large bag, in plain sight. They have almost every color and style of gowns imaginable. We were just browsing the styles and possible colors - but turns out our Bride had her color picked out (at another boutique - a known chain with colors and styles up the ying yang) The sales ladies are way pushy and stressing that you need to place an order today and etc. We werent totally satisfied with what was offered and left. Theres parking in the front and the rear of the store. Right on "wedding" alley - the few blocks of stores and photography studios that cater to weddings. However, if you know what you want and are looking for, rather than ideas and browsing - this might be your spot. I saw a lot of decent priced gowns for everyone in the wedding.

First of all these people have been in business for 18 years? WOW I dont know how they managed it, they are very unprofessional. I was told the dresses ran one size smaller, so I got the size I needed thinking "ok Im working out so worst case scenarios it might just fit a bit snug...the damn thing didnt even zip up half way, and come to find out that they run 2 sizes smaller but Nancy, the owner, never told us that. So I go to the shop to try and see if they could do some alterations, and she says that we may be able to take it out, or at the very least do like a corset style. So she calls me back and explains that they wont be able to do any alterations after all, because her staff will be out on vacation all of September. She said "sorry I no do for you because they going to be on vacation...sorry dont know what to tell you." Yet on Friday she was saying "I have over 18 years experience dont worry i take care for you." Ha what a joke! Beware if youre thinking of going here, they may tell you one thing one day, and something completely different the next.

I bought a gorgeous dress for my daughters quincenera here... it was actually a wedding dress. and she fixed the train and altered it for my daughter at no charge. after giving me a great!! discount on the dress.... i seen similar dresses at other stores over $2,000 on clearance... thank you Nancy!!! i am very satisfied with your services... after my party i will post pictures.... i cant be over happy !!!! again Thank you !!!!!

One person who handle the talking complain so much. They dont know how to price a material and how to handle customer service. If you want to make business you have to stop complaining and just give the appropriate price and make customer be happy when they leave the place. Too much complain brings stress to customer at the same time you are pulling your business down.

Elizabeth had a huge role in making this experience a perfect one. She is really helpful and considerate. Also their seamstress is really nice and a professional. I totally recommend the 2000 Dreams Bridal!
