BUYER BEWARE! A few weeks ago I purchased a Grencoscience G-Pro vaporizer from the manager at Wildside smoke shop in SLO. A few weeks later the power button broke. I went back to shop and was instructed by to contact Grencoscience manufacturer. I did as instructed and was asked by Grencoscience to take several photo views of my COUNTERFEIT G-Pro. They reviewed my photos and sent me a email saying sorry but I hate to be the one to tell you that your G-Pro is COUNTERFEIT and to take it back where I purchased it and demand a refund! They also sent me links to photos on their website showing Authentic vs. COUNTERFEIT G-Pros. I took a copy of my email from Grencoscience and gave it to Wildside employees including the manager. I also gave them a list of at least 10 different things on my broken G-Pro that were Counterfeit. I was first told that I could have a brand new COUNTERFEIT G-Pro, or later in the day, offered a cheap Pinnacle vape that they dont have in stock. By the way, if you want a Pinnacle buy it on line and save yourself $50.00 bucks. None of these options that were offered to me are satisfactory. Im very new to using a vaporizer and I trusted the Wildside manager. I certainly was unaware of their COUNTERFEIT merchandise. Who buys merchandise from a distributor for their shop to sell to the public without confirming whether the products are Authentic or Counterfeit? Its not that difficult to log onto GrencoScience website ask them for photo confirmations. It only took me a very short time to do this. My best advice would be buy your Grencoscience G-Pros and SnoopDog G-pros directly online or purchase them from the only Authorized retailer per their website which is (Cloud9) in SLO. Something shady is going on at Wildside Smoke Shop.

I had such a disgustingly terrible time at this shop today. I spent a week shopping for a bong online and though local shops only to spend about $160 on one from here. As soon as I unwrapped it I noticed a chip and a took it directly back completely unused with tags still on it. Their shop employee even said it was obvious that it was unused and that it had been delivered chipped like that to the shop that day. Apparently my only option was to exchange for a couple other generic looking ones or just deal with my chipped merchandise. I was not even given the option no trade for another product from the store, only the small collection of about 5. This store owner needs to update his business policies asap. If you are not able to run a shop correctly you do not need to own one. I spent too much on this purchase for it not to be in great condition. Their manager AGAIN needs to update his policies in the event of chipped, broken, or faulty merchandise.

Purchased 2 e-cigs from here and 5 tanks over the course of 3 weeks for my wife. Every tank started leaking after 1 week and one started leaking IMMEDIATELY. She handled all of them with care, yet they are utter crap because come to find out, they sell KNOCKOFFS. They dont sell them with the product in its manufacturer box, they have them in some plastic bag (in bulk) behind the counter. Complete waste of money and waste of expensive e-cig juice. Their policy is absolutely no refunds or store credit for any reason. Why? Because they sell faulty merchandise and they know it, but would rather cheat people out of money by not replacing the cheap stuff they sell. I feel swindled out of over $100. Also, their staff is a joke. Only the initial guy who helped us was helpful. The others seemed rude and more concerned with pushing sales and socializing with their buddies behind the counter. Trust me and the other legit reviewers, avoid this place.

They sell cheap, cheap, CHEAP imported chinese/inidian glass. A few tubes companies based in US that us chinese glass anyways. Also known to sell some fake RooRs for a good deal ($100-200 really??) It takes years to get an account with RooR and carry their products, cant fool me buddy. If you have very little money and knowledge then continue to support these new startup shops trying to make a buck, I will take my money to the people trying to help the glass art community. Last thing that really bugs me, they might have some hookah tobacco but no cigarettes, cigars, or rolling tobacco??? Kidding right??? Nope, Welcome to the Wildside

this place is SICK, they have so many different style pipes and hookahs very well priced, the sales guy was hilarious me and my friends had a blast just hanging out picking out our stuff...deffinitly a place with a great vibe & good music playing too. i only went in with a certain amount in cash and the guy found the absolute best deal for what i was workin with, practically cut a chunk off the price for us (cant beat that!) also got tickets for the 420 raffel, heard it gets pretty huge & they have tons of crazy deals going on raffel days, should be good!

They dont back up what they sell. I bought a jolite vaporizer on Friday, for $ 180, got home (20 miles) and tried it out and it didnt work. I took it back the next morning and even though the clerk (not the one that sold it to me) called the owner and was told not to exchange it. I now have to wait until 7/5 to contact the company and return it. Let the buyer beware!

This place is terrible. The glass they sell is low quality. Bought two water pipes for about 300 each. BOTH of them had defects the loser working there refused to help me out each time i went in to show him the problem. Also, the second time i went there, there was another unsatisfied customer who was trying to return a broken hookah. this place sucks

I have been there three times and have always been happy with the result. I have never felt any pressure to buy. The first two times I went there the cashier gave me all the info I needed to buy a vaporizer. I went to other stores and looked on the web. The price was about the same so I bought local from this store and I have been very happy.

The people working at The Wild Side are helpful and nice. I have been applying here since September and have had lots of interactions with the employees. I just wish the manager Jacob would slow down and take some time looking toward the future.

Everything seems overly priced but ask and see what kind of deals can be made. You have to remember you are buying time and thoughts an artist came up with... Quality pieces, and you cant go wrong with Big Sean directing you to the right deal.

Staff is terrible, overly pushy trying to sell you things. When trying to return things they drop the nice guy act and show their true colors. Merchandise is pricy but thats usual at head shops

Got a sweet bubbler for $30 and a hookah for $15. Hookah pulls pretty weak but for the size and price, great deal. Very satisfied with both purchases. :D
