2 stars for the donuts only. Used to frequent here a lot. One day after the lady behind the counter was finished mopping, my kids and I walked in. We got scowling looks and complete bad vibes from the counter lady. No acknowledgement other than a sour stare from the lady. I asked to get some ice cream. She threw it in the cup and tossed it on the counter with a large attitude. She then told us that we need to eat outside. I replied with a "whats up with the attitude?" She exclaimed with what I could understand was kids make messes and need to eat outside. Hard to tell because of her accent, but I believe that was the point she was providing. Mind you, we have been in here several times and the only mess was on my kids face. We told her to skip it, we will not be buying ice cream here today or ever again. She replied with a "GOOD, THANK YOU". It has been at least 6 years since I have been there. My wife stopped in one time afterwards and was completely ignored. Too bad, the donuts are not bad and the ice cream was always generous.

I dont get donuts very often, so I cant compare Rose Donuts to any other. It has been a long, long time since I have been to a Donut shop. Truth is I am not sure this should qualify as a "donut" shop because of the extended menu of sandwiches (breakfast and lunch), beverages and treats. However, I can say that I received very good service, it was clean, and the donuts (about $1 each for a dozen) were very good. There is a decent selection of donuts. Having driven by many times I have noticed that it is rare for Rose Donuts to be empty. This says something about their quality and prices as they are across the corner from a Starbucks, and they suffer from a small parking lot. I will need to stop in some time for lunch. Rose Donuts does not have a printed menu or a web page for a menu, but the lady behind the counter stated I was welcome to take photos. They are attached. I have shaky hands and must apologize for the poor quality. I hope they prove useful.

Have been going here for years. Have never had anything but great service, donuts/food and drink. The staff here has been engaged in the growth of my growing family from the beginning and always are genuinely interested in how we are. I love the atmosphere when every I return here after not coming in for a while. Rose donuts is a staple of there community. Not to mention a fine example of community and business relationships from every interaction ending in a satisfaction from what I have seen. Also a great safe place for collage students late night.

If you are looking for classic donuts that are just incredibly good Rose Donuts is the place. They are open 24/7 and no matter what time you get in their donuts are fresh, soft, and mouthwatering. Not only are they addictive but they keep with the classics - glazed twist, glazed old fashioned, chocolate custard filled long John, apple fritter, round chocolate. You name it they have it. Plus they have specials for half a dozen for those times you feel like you shouldnt indulge too much. Check it out, i highly recommend.

Think Ive found my new favorite donut/breakfast shop! I love coming here since its just a short 10 minute walk from my place but we always come here right after a morning hike. But keeping this review short: super friendly staff, opened 24/7, good donuts, awesome breakfast sandwiches (combo gets you a donut and a small drink), and cash only. Keep in mind this isnt a gourmet donut shop. Its just a little local place that is always opened serving decent donuts and breakfast sandwiches at a good price.

These doughnuts are amazing! They are light, crispy, with a fully baked doughnut. You can tell the dough quality has been taken into consideration, and they are consistently baked well. Each doughnut is massive from the rising of the dough in the baking process. I have been here several times and I have never come across an undercooked, or greasy doughnut. The glaze is very generous, and of high quality.

The only 24 hour food spot near campus, Rose Donuts saw far to much of me in the wee hours of the night during my first semesters at USD. Why? Because the deluxe breakfast sandwich never disappoints - with its ooey-gooey cheesy goodness, pile of breakfast meats, and jalapeno kick. Get it on a croissant or bagel for a few cents extra. Or make it a meal with a donut and drink if youre trying to get wild.

I visited Rose Donuts for the first time today, and I was very satisfied with the coffee, the glazed twist donut, and the croissant sandwich (bacon, egg, and cheese) that I had. The service was good, the place is reasonably clean, theres decent parking, but theres no restroom for customers. The fact that its open 24 hours is a giant plus, and I will probably return.

Rose Donuts is awesome. I rate them 10 stars out of 5 best donut shop in San Diego. I go there at least 5 times a week Im really fat now and I need to exercise but I just cant keep from going there. I did cut down I only get a dozen at a time now instead of two I recommend this donut shop to everyone that loves Donuts cuz you will not find a better donut

Roses donuts has the best donuts and breakfast by far!! If you want a good wake me up, a cup the Vietnamese coffee is all you need! They go above and beyond exceeding expectations when it comes to customer service! They are very friendly! I have never been disappointed when it comes to quality! They even taste just as good the next day!

Unbeatable donuts in the Linda Vista area. Also conveniently located near an off ramp from the 8. Breakfast time can get crowded with lines out the door however it moves quickly. A combo with a sandwich, donut, and choice of a drink is very reasonable at $7 or 8$. BRING CASH!

I did not have a sandwich, Im rating based on the donuts. The donuts are nothing special. Theyre certainly tatsy, but not for the price. Ive had grocery store donuts (Marianos) that were better. I wouldnt go out of the way for this place, but Id drop by if I was in the area.

Great experience at a local donut shop! Staff was very friendly, service was great, coffee was great. I highly recommend the maple bars. The prices were pretty good as well. I give it 4 instead of 5 stars because the donuts were merely good and not anything too special.

I used to come here all the time as a child with my mom and dad. Its been a while since Ive been back but when I drive by it I see its updated its look a bit since the 90s. I definitely have warm memories of this place and intend to come back soon.

Great service! Donuts are the best weve had so far. We try a come here once a week. They even have great breakfast sandwiches, which can be ordered as a combo that comes with a drink and a donut or 6 donut holes. Delicious!
