WORST GAS STATION - CONVENIENCE STORE EVER !!! I got gas here a few days ago and Im OK with paying the .35c debit fee to discounted gas and not have to drive to Costco which is always less then ARCO / AM PM stations... Here is the crazy part...so I go in to buy a bag of ice about $3.50 and I see that debit fee of .35c pop up on the screen and Im like what the heck and the attendant says yeah sorry that the way AM/PM works with a screw you face. Convenient stores are already priced higher because of the convenience factor, but to try and charge an additional .35c to use my debit card, you are crazy! As a business I know that credit card companies charge the business the least for debit card transactions which fall between 0.05c per transaction and 0.15c. For almost every business is the cost of doing business and accepting debit and credit cards. The fact is debit cards draw from the bank account directly and are the least costly to business to accept, whereas credit card charge business higher fees because it is credit and there are risks like charge backs. So they charge me (us) 0.35c and make a profit on the this so called debit fee that somehow is to offset discounted gas prices, but I PURCHASED A BAG OF ICE! It is clearly a scam to make a profit on the financial portion of the transcation which is the biggest scam to prey on people that are on the move and may or may not notice. I will never use ARCO and AM/PM ever again! What bothered me the most was the attendants take it or leave it attitude, his expression said it all about what they stand for and how they operate they business, you lost a local resident forever and I will let all my friends know about my experience.

I´m really disappointed with how they have dealt with my problem. They did a mistake (which everyone of us can do) but when I told them they did it, the first response was that it had been my fault. After having to pay twice the gas, to resolve their mistake I had to call them several times to try to solve it. I had the feeling that until the moment I raised my voice they were giving me any solution, just excuses. Finally with the security cameras they realized that I was right and after giving my money back the only apology I received was a "sorry about that" They didn´t had any sensitivity of my time!

I dont mind video screens at the pump, I can simply look away. But I hate the audio ads. I feel like my own thoughts are being hijacked. Its a 3 because it has a good store and a car wash. However, I wont get gas here because of the audio ads.

Doesnt take visa. Only cash or debit, charges a fee for debit.
