The East Market and Restaurant is the best Afghani Market and Restaurant in Sacramento, California. The part of Market has the greatest Afghani bread and hall meats. In addition these, the market has an excellent dry fruits, fresh fruits, grocery items and all necessary house things. The part of Restaurant has an excellant Afghani foods such as (Qaboli Palaw, different kinds of Chalo, all kinds of Kababs, special Bolani, Pakaora, Special Manto and other kinds of food based on order). At the end I would like to say the East (Sharq) has an autstanding customer services and customer relationship. If anyone wants to eat the best Afghani foods and buy the greatest Afghani foods, Halal meat and mentioned other above items and I recommend you to go the East Market and Restaurant. Over all its a good market which meets my needs. But to be honest I had two situations: Once they charged me by mistake extra $3.99. When I mentioned them, they told me to mention it next time I purchase. Next time when I purchased something I also mentioned them that they owe me $3.99. They told me that they dont remember. This made me so sad. I left the market without any argument. Second time I bought mutton for $84.53. I mentioned them to take money from my credit card. But when I checked my bank account at home, they charged me from my debt card which made me mad again. I hope they dont do it again.

We were in this restaurant yesterday. The site looked very clean. The bathroom covered with light color and beautiful tiles seemed very clean. The food was great and plenty to feel full. The tea with sugar cubes gave us real feeling of an ethnic cuisine. The lady who attended us was very caring nice and full of high manners. She checked several times on us and made sure we felt not ignored. In short, I left the restaurant very satisfied and happy.

This is by far the best Afghan store in the area. Very good quality food and meat. The customer service is great. One day we came to pick up our preorded wholeweet bread, they had sold it to someone else. They owner took our address and next day delivered the breads all the way in Roseville. Keep up the good work. Thank you

Had an invitation for my coworkers in the office, took Afghan Qabali Palaw with Bolani for them, Everyone at worked loved it and they all have asked me for the address. The food is always delicious as its supposed to be :)

They have delicious and fresh naan bread for a great price. The bread measures about a foot by three feet and costs about $1.50! I dont know if their restaurant is open yet - but I am looking forward to trying it!

This place is one of the best markets i have bee to in a very long time. All the employees are all so nice and respectful. Very clean and organized. I really cant say enough great things about this place.

The only place serving Afghanistan food that I have found in this area. There is also a grocery store for buying ingredients. Real Afghanistan flat bread is fresh.
