I have had it with this company! They will never receive any more of my business after the 2 purchases Ive made over the last 2 years. I rarely ever write reviews but Ashley Furniture has my blood boiling right now. 1st - Dont EVER buy their furniture protection. As those companys will make you jump through hoops and decline every single claim you submit. They cover NOTHING! And forget about trying to get back the $ you wasted on those protection plans. 2nd - HORRIBLE communication from the company as a whole! I had furniture delivered damaged, the delivery crew marked down it was damaged, it was signed off and they told me that Ashley would call me in the next 3 days to schedule a tech. I waited 2 wks and had to call Ashley to get a tech scheduled as it was canceled on their end. Tech came, took pics, and stated Ashley would call me. I waited a month! Called Ashley yet again, bounced around to diff depts, on hold to then be told the claim was canceled because I DIDNT REPORT IT IN 3 DAYS! And no call from Ashley stating that. If I didnt report it in an appropriate time frame then why the hell did you waste my time sending out a tech!?!?! Meanwhile in that same delivery, they kept bringing me a piece of furniture that didnt match the set in which I purchased. The piece was refused, got a new appt for a new delivery to only have the same damn piece brought back. That was refused. Waited over a wk, no response, called them to find it was canceled! Again no call from them what so ever. Had to place a new order in which 2 orders were created and finally the right piece was delivered at 10pm (after waiting all day) meanwhile I had to waste more time getting the 2nd order cancelled. Ive consumed so much time with this company and I am pissed off! All the days I had to stay home for the delivery and for the techs and all the time wasted on the phone tracking down answers when it should of been them calling and communicating to me. Your company SUCKS!

We went here last weekend with plans of purchasing a living room set. We first wanted just a sleeper sofa, but decided to get an entire set to have everything at once. The sales person who entertained us, Deepak, was quite pleasant and discussed all options we could take. When we were ready to buy and wanted to see what kind of promotional offer we could get, Deepak consulted with his manager and everything went downhill from there. The manager had the most terrible customer service attitude. He just kept on saying no to everything we ask, without presenting an alternative. He wouldnt even let us finish our sentences before saying no. Deepak looked certainly frustrated with him as well. His tone was very condescending and had absolutely no skill in creating a more acceptable and hospitable environment. We felt bad that Deepak was affected by our decision to rescind our interest in purchasing because we were aware that he gets a commission. However, with the way that manager interacted with us was against our principle of simply being a nice human being. He absolutely ruined it for Deepak and put Ashley Furniture at the bottom of our list now. We proceeded to purchase a living room set from another furniture store (Furniture Outlet) that not only carried the same set we were going to purchase from Ashley Furniture, but also matched their price and gave a discount.

This place is amazing! Ive had the best experience ever. My mom and I had seen this store on television and we thought we should check it out today to look for a matress for myself. My mom and I walked in the store and we were welcomed by a very nice, friendly sales representative, Alex. He introduced himself and was ready to help us out! I was in good hands! He asked me what I was looking for and I told him I needed a new mattress. He said follow me and I will get you the best affordable one. He was really patient, he had me try out the most comfortable ones and at the same time he was explaining in detail what they were made of and the differences between them. I explained to him that I needed something to help my back and something that will last for a really long time without wearing out. He helped me choose the right one! He said this mattress will help you for the future and for your better health. I felt really comfortable being helped by Alex and also by his manager. His manager was very friendly and helpful!! To make the story short... I walked out very excited about my new mattress! I really recommend going to this store. I know for sure I will be buying more things from here! Thank you Alex and to his manager for taking your time to make me a very satisfied customer!.... I would give this store a 10 star rating if I could!

I was excited to view all of the beautiful furniture. Finally found a living room set after 2nd visit to confirm. I was assured by the sales person that I would be sitting on my furniture on Sunday 4 days after purchase and would receive the remaining furniture on the following Wednesday. I confirmed via telephone and text message Sunday delivery date would be perfect. Sunday no delivery neither the corporate office nor the store can tell me what occurred. On Monday Manager Les and set the delivery date for Wednesday I received a phone call 2 hours before delivery window confirming for Thursday. In other words no delivery someone have rescheduled my delivery date again before notifying me. The sales experience was fantastic but the delivery process does not match Ashley mission statement. Manager Les appears to be in a dilemna between corporate and distribution center. It was quite embarrassing but I believe he did the best he could in attempting to rectify the matter. Unfortunately, I will not be referring Ashley to anyone I know. My observation appears corporate office and distribution center requires assistance in communicating with each other and other logistical formalities.

My wife and I just purchased a home in Sacramento and the Natomas Ashley furniture was literally five minutes away from our home. We came in and the store was incredible! So many choices and furniture but definitely the highlight of our experience was working with Shawn and Nick!! They made both my wife and I feel very welcome!! Shawn spent about two hours with us showing us different furniture options. We gave him a general idea of the style we were looking for and he took us all around the store finding different things that fit our style. My wife and I were a bit concerned going and that we were going to have to haggle on the price but Shawn elliminated that by working with our budget and even exceeding our financial expectations! His manager Nick got involved and gave us an even better deal than what we were originally quoted. I cant say enough great things about our experience today and we would recommend everyone and anyone we know to this location because the customer service and selection is unbeatable!!

My family is furnishing our new house. We ordered a sofa, entertainment center, center pieces, dining set, and bedroom set from Ashley on october 10. Our delivery was set for November 17 and when they came our sofa was torn and they only had 2/3 of the pieces, the bed set came with missing pieces, and we only got our dining table with no chairs. We tried again for a delivery in december, but when they came they were missing (again) parts of our sofa, the matress and footboard of the bedset was missing, and basically everything was damaged. I have been sleeping on the floor for over a week waiting for the bedset, so we ended up having to go to the ware house ourselfs and get my matress (Not even the Frame). we then had to go to the ware house and grab our sofa, which means my mom, dad, and I had to carry two 260 pound couches up the stairs and set it up ourselfs. We our still waiting for delivery set time. While Erik our sales person great, knowledgable, and helpful, I do NOT recommend Ashley Furniture.
