I really appreciate Spearhead, best coffee for sure. The one and only complaint I have which I have discussed many times with the crew is the loud music. I have a difficult time focusing on my thoughts, my internet work, and conversations with friends. Perhaps having the background in music I do, my age, and the fact I live in the mountains of Big Sur with a view of the ocean at 3200 ft and NO neighbors inters into the picture. Good coffee houses use music as ambiance background not a concert. This is the only complaint I have and it may not be a problem with you. Staff is great, management are like ole friends who actually miss me when I am on the road teaching school and Spearhead is my first stop when I arrive in Paso Robles Ca.

I absolutely love this coffee house. Has a new era feel, with a homey modern atmosphere. I am so glad we have a great coffee place to choose from. We are overrun with Starbucks and I am glad to say that Spearhead knows what good coffee is and how to make it. There coffee is smooth, delicious, and not overly powering. Love it. The people always are friendly and helpful!

The iced mocha latte I had this morning was perfect. Just the right amount of chocolate and milk and espresso and ice. I love drinking from glass or ceramic over plastic or paper cups, so ordering it "for here" gets me that experience as well. The place has a very open, airy, spacious feel and the location is ideal, a block from the park and many downtown businesses.

A café for the discerning coffee drinker. So far this is the only place in town that seems to care about quality. While it may be a bit too high brow for some with the requisite Edison bulbs, reclaimed wood counter, and bearded baristas, these guys take their beans seriously. They roast in-house and have a small kitchen to produce baked goods as well.

This is definitely the best coffee shop in town. All of the drinks are made professionally and taste amazing each time. The menu is simple, and they know how to make every drink really well. The food is really good, and baked in house. The atmosphere is very hip and modern, with minimalistic furniture and lots of plants and art.

It was a okay experience for me. The girl that waited on us was not frendly at all. She seemed as if she just had a fught with somebody. I ask questions and she just ignored me. I wanted my tea in a cup I was purchasing, I had to ask her to please wash it and put my tea in it. Other than that the place and tea are fabulous.

Rude? Cant believe it, made my gf cry? And then my gf and i fought... I just wanted thailand coffee. Would probably given them five stars if they didnt have cookies or if i go back and it works out next time. Apparently they dont know about Google maps reviews... Im shocked. And over a cookie?

Finally a good coffee house in town!! Kudos to Shelby and Zippy for providing me with excellent hand drip coffees and some tips for making coffee in my V60 at home. Fairly priced coffees done well. These people care about coffee!!

My son and I ordered blended mochas because it was so hot outside. It was the best Ive had in a very long time. Wasnt too sweet, you could actually taste the coffee. Very clean, nice staff, great prices and location.

The Kenyan is easily the best coffee Ive had. Was very full-bodied and flavorful. I got a bag of the Kenyan (and a few others) and make espresso with it, really good stuff. Wish they were closer.
