My husband and I really enjoy stopping off in the morning after our morning walk to buy some freshly brewed coffee from Mug Shots. Several years ago when I was out Christmas shopping for my husband I decided to purchase him a gift certificate from Mug Shot with the hope that he would start to enjoy drinking coffee with me. Well that stocking stuffer gift was the best gift I ever purchased for him. To this day at the beginning of each month he puts down money because he doesnt want his tab to run out of funds. Back to my review, Mug Shots quaint lobby is really a great place to gather with your friends, to read a paper, or browse the internet. They also have an array of delicious pasties. Stop by, I know you will love Mug Shots and it will soon become your favorite coffee shop in Oroville.

The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere calm, and relaxing. My mother and I shared a Turkey Ruben sandwich, which was delicious and very filling and reasonable priced. The mochas we ordered however were not to our liking. This was due to personal taste, however, not due to any error on the staffs behalf. We just prefer ours sweeter. The nice gentleman serving us explained that they use dark chocolate and he very kindly added additional sweeteners. I would return to this establishment solely for the atmosphere, hospitality and food again but next time my stick to hot chocolate! Very nice place to just sit, chat and watch the people!

We were on our way to Chico when we decided to stop in Oroville to eat lunch. We drove around downtown and this was the only place that seemed to have people in it. We were instantly greeted when we walked in. We had 2 sandwiches a coffee and soda. Great food and ambiance. Every small town should have a place like this. We will return again. Highly recommended for easy eating..great prices also.

Great cute and comfortable. The all brick walls with local artists constantly on display really adds to the downtown experience. The food is always delicious and their cold brew is dangerously delicious. They have great mini-events that are perfect additions to your nights.
