This has to be the absolute WORST cafe I have ever went too, I asked for a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and they gave me a sandwich where the bread was extremely burnt and they cheese was barely melted, and the ham was not even in there, I am allergic to lemons and they only give you lemon water and so I asked for plain water and they gave me water in a super small cup and it tasted very warm. Dont waste you money on this place, go to Togos instead!

Love! Love! Love this place! An amazing revolving menu of delicious sandwiches and unique coffee drinks always served with flare. Plus a great atmosphere with fun seating and plenty of books and games to distract you while you wait. Best Coffee Shop in Martinez!

The boyfriend and I just moved into the area and we have been here twice in 2 days! Cute little indie spot with an artsy appeal! The have a full bar and craft beers on tap! - crafted lattes, LOOSE tea, and pasteries! My favorite spot in downtown Martinez

Coffee came out very quickly and was delicious (I had a vanilla latte) and had a plain bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon for breakfast. I highly recommend the bagel! Definitely helped with getting me through the day.

Cozy place, excellent sandwiches. The only complaint I might have is just the inconvenience of downtown Martinez parking. Its reminiscent of pre-starbucks coffee places, though definitely more of a modern youth vibe.

I made a yelp account just to review this cafe, Ive been here once and it was an quick decided favorite. The fresh mint latte with almond milk was the best latte I have ever had! The Baristas are so thoughtful too!

I stopped at Barrelista on my way to Portland on Amtrak and on my way back. Both times, I found the mochas to be superb and the blue berry muffins/scones to be simply heavenly. A full five stars for Barrelista!!
