This is where I come for fresh produce and meats at incredibly affordable prices. It can get busy/crowded in here and the old Persian women will sometimes yell at you in Farsi if you take up too much room in the aisle (kinda cute, actually), but overall this place is an awesome cultural experience which can only be had in LA, and it offers a lot of good deals for a neighborhood grocery store. Best time to shop are weekday mornings, and its busiest on Friday evenings (insane during/near Jewish holidays) and all day Sunday - closed Saturdays. They have a small parking lot in the back which always seems to be full, but I find street parking either on Pico or the side streets. If you live nearby just ride your bike here, thats how I usually do it. ;)

Your typical meditranian store, but too small for the all the people coming through. Impossible to have two carts passing each other in the few isles it has, so people leave the carts some place and bring what they want to the cart. Be careful as some people might take your cart, since youve done most of the shopping, so they dont have to. Not the friendliest staff. They could use a lot of customer service training.

Strange, about the reviewer that says prices are high and veggies are good. Its actually the polar opposite. They are know to be the lowest prices in fruits and veggies b/c of the fact that the quaility is so terrible. Other then that you need to prepare to go to war, when you are there crowd the horrible.

I live in Los Angeles and there are a lot of kabab places is near me specially RAFFIs place but I never had a better koobideh then Elat Kosher Market it tastes just like the Kosher koobideh in CA I even buy there un cooked koobideh by the pound its just delicious

The best Persian store in West Los Angeles. It is not supposed to be an international one. It is sometimes crowded, maybe because they provide the most affordable veggies in the district.

Many products are not kosher, as it supposed to be kosher but isnt its very confusing! Prices are high, good veggies, Crowd is very aggressive! If you go there get ready to push!

Good prices, English is most of the working staffs second language tho, and like others said, crowd is aggressive; be prepared to be bumped and elbowed a bit by old Jewish ladies
